I'm assuming you realise that he fought Tua, & have decided that he was so past prime it doesn't count.
Anyway, he gets stopped by all of them except Byrd. Moorer-Byrd is a pick-em for me.

    Actually I got a complete black-out with that:lol:

But yes, the idea is to match the prime Moorer (who beat Holyfield) with these.

I think Moorer beats at least Quarry and Byrd and I'd also pick him to beat Shavers although it would be very risky. McCall is a pickem

Actually, I think he could possibly decision McCall, but no way could he hold up to Shavers, and he may go the distance with Quarry, but Quarry was too tough, & too good a boxer to get beat by Moorer IMO.

I think Moorer, knowing Shavers, would stay alert for the first five rounds and then outbox him. Of course one mistake along the way would be fatal. I can't see Quarry defeating the version of Moorer who outboxed Holyfield

Prime McCall and prime Shavers both hammer him. Shavers puts him to sleep, and McCall batters him on the ropes until he crumbles to the canvas in the late rounds.

McCall had a hell of a punch AND he could eat Moorer's power...Moorer would not be able to handle McCall's, and Shavers would nail him harder than Tua did.

    He beats BYRD.......

he get KOTFO by the others Moore might be winning a few of those fights when he gots KO..but not like when he fought Foreman that he won every round..every second...these fight will be close..he will be taking punishment...

So you think the Moorer who outboxed Holyfield has no chance to outbox Quarry or McCall? Moorer did have a lousy chin but it is not like he had lost every time out

Moorer woulda beaten the shit outta Turd.

Him and Quarry is close to a pick em.

He gets KO'd by the rest.

Gets stopped by Tua and Shavers. Maybe by McCall as well, although I can see him outboxing him and winning a decision. Moorer beats Byrd. I can actually see him winning a wild one with Bruno as Moorer showed more of an ability to win after being in trouble, although Bruno was better than the likes of Cooper and Stewart.

    Not sure about Quarry.

How do you think Moorer does against the 80s alpha HW titlists like Thomas, Witherspoon, Weaver, Tubbs, Dokes, Tucker, etc..and Spinks (more than a titlist)?

Moorer beats Shavers, McCall, Bruno, & possibly Byrd --- in a very close fight. He was better than Tua, but it's just a very tough fight. I think he'd always lose, though Rahman managed to survive, so Moorer has at least a chance, IMO.

Quarry is also too well-rounded & busy for Moorer.

All pretty plausible. I think Moorer, on his game, was too well-rounded for Shavers, & hit hard enough at Heavyweight to stop him. Shavers' power, especially with the always-undersold training talent of Atlas in the corner, would have Moorer, "On" for mine, & he'd be safe enough to win that fight. Hairy for every second Shavers is still there, though.
