montiel is not a formidable bantamweight. it was apparent when he lost to gonzalez. the dude he fought this past weekend was pretty tall and big and it backfired when montiel tried to throw bombs to finish the guy off after that first knockdown. nevertheless, montiel is hot and cold. hasegawa would beat his ass.
How does Arum continue to showcase Chavez Jr on PPV's? I mean is Mexican boxing fandom that fucking huge that they'd repeatedly overpay to watch this guy beat up guys who have very little chance of beating him?
