    good interview Godfather, thanks man.

Am I crazy because I find Kimbo very easy to root for especially now after the Seth Petruzelli KO. I am not saying I think he'll win, lose, or draw. I just find him genuine and likeable. Anyone else?

...Kimbo seemed pretty upbeat....he has the look of a man who has made the final

I actually like Kimbo. He seems like a very laid back dude. No cockiness or attitude. He just likes to fight.....and feed his family. He may not be the best, but I find it easy to root for him.

I like Slice too. And one has to believe he's either in the final,....or he accounted himself fairly well.

There's people on this forum who give him a hard time, and for what?

He's shown respect for the fighters and the sport and in return he get shat on and like everyone say's he's very easy to root for because of his personality.

I think most gave him a hard time because of Elite XC. He really had no business being a headlin main event. But like a wise man once said, hate the game not the playa homey:kidcool:. You can't get mad at Kimbo for taking the paycheck no more than you can blame Brock for taking the WWE paycheck.

I see a guy who realizes his mistakes and wants to be legitimate. He's doing it the right way now for sure. I give him mad props, I don't think most fighters would eat the crow he had to eat and go on this show. I'm rooting for Kimbo to win it all for sure.:cheer:

I've always said I have nothing against Kimbo personally, but fuck EliteXC for what they did with him. Kimbo does seem like a pretty down to earth nice dude, it is far easier to root for him without the EliteXC bullshit hype.

Well the difference being Lesnar fought legit guys right out of the gate, he didn't give us much of a chance to hate him, if he was the main event fighting no hopers I would have had a different opinion of him. He fought good guys right from the start and has proven he's worthy of the hype.

It's really unfortunate the way EliteXC handled Kimbo. I wish him the best in TUF, I think he's going to be fighting for the UFC no matter if he wins or loses the show. Love him or hate him, he's got a fanbase.

Seems like a very intelligent, decent guy! Liked him allot. And I always like to see boxing in an MMA context and even as an untrained street brawler Slice has better boxing skills than most MMAists. So I'll definitely be rooting for him all the way.

I have no problems seeing kimbo in the ME at XC. I was pumped for all his fights.

I wouldn't have cared about him being a ME, just not against Tank Abbott. If his ME fights were ME worthy opponents, he would have got alot more respect. But like I said, not Kimbo's fault. He just showed up to fight. Like Z I am rooting for him all the way through TUF 10.

He was the only real mainstream star they had. UFC doesn't really have many main event fighters either. Thats why old ass Couture is main eventing fight after fight loss after loss, and why they had to beg Ortiz to come back.

They certainly have enough of them to put on succesful PPV's every month, sometimes more. Can't argue with the numbers.

This post lost me, homey. They have the top fighters in the world and by far the most known. Completely absurd post. When you see Tito's payday, we will see who was begging who.

    GSP main eventer
    Silva main eventer
    Machida main eventer
    Penn main eventer
    Lesnar main eventer

then there are several other fighters who can pull off a main event fairly decently such as Rampage, Nog, Mir, Shogun,Henderson etc. The funny thing is guys who are not main eventers in the UFC would be in any other fight org around. Guys like Thiago Alves, Jon Fitch, Kenny Florian, Marquardt, Wandy Silva, and the list goes on.

Forget him, he is ignorant. He just comes into this forum to bash the sport. He knows absolutely nothing about it.
