who cares if he quit? that was a courageous performance regardless of the outcome. for 10 rounds he withstood what most of vitali's opponents couldnt. it's not like arreola was expected to last all twelve in the first place.

I really wished Chris had fought Wlad tonight instead. Not only would I have been rooting for him but he would have had a better shot at winning.

As for the stoppage, I felt it was the perfect time as I'd already been saying the ref needs to stop the fight during the last rd.

2 things shocked me from Stewart. Him mentioning how so few cliches happened earlier in the fight and giving so much credit for that to Vitali. It was almost like he was criticizing Wlad for all the clinching that Wlad does which is really funny because he's the one who fucking trains Wlad.

I was also surprised to hear both brothers go at each other so hard in sparring. For one I didn't think they'd be so evenly matched. Maybe we should consider them having a real fight.

I think Wlad would have beat him much easier. Wlad would have just tied him up every time that Arreola bumrushed him. Once seperated, Wlad would shoot him with that jab and catch him with much more powerful right hands than Vitali did. Wlad would have wrecked him.

You are a dumbass, and the post fight interview should have shown that he didn't want to quit and that he himself didn't quit, the corner and the ref did...posts like this makes me hate some boxing fans.

 

Arreola is a game tough dude.

He just had no chance in hell against Vitali. I was very impressed by him tonight. I knew he had balls, but he's tough and keeps going. The 8th round was arguably his, and thats saying something considering the beating he took.

I like his chances against Not Vitali/Wlad, but if he fights with the resolve he did today he could at least make Wlad work hard for it.

 

agreed, Arreola's corner/ref stopped it, as they should have. But arreola was obviously unhappy with it from the outset.

 

Sorry about the loss my angel,.. I still think he could give Wlad hell,.. and I do believe he would knock Haye the FUCK OUT,.. the rubber robot is just so fucking difficult to fight,.. hopefully this will be the lesson needed for Areolla to come in as best shape as he can.

 

Speaking of that is there anything worse than Mexican boxing fans. My god they actually boo opponents for winning. For a second there during his post fight interview I thought Vitali was about to apologize for not taking a knee for a ten count so they could go home and feel good about themselves. I've been wanting to say this for awhile but these guys are truly the worst fans in boxing.

On the flip side they do support the sport to such a degree that they keep it afloat and allow big purses to continue so one just has to take the good with the bad with those mofo's.

 

REED Thought Arreola was CRYING During the Post-Fight Interview Because he Saw just how BAD his Body Looked on the Jumbo Tron....
