They Even BAITED Us in the Promo's, Showing that Right Hand that Kimbo Threw, yet During the Actual Fight, it was Shown from a DIFFERENT Angle & Clearly DIDN'T Land w/the FORCE that the Promo's Insinuated...

The WORST Part is, they Actually FOCUSED on Kimbo & MADE REED Like him MORE than he Anticipated...Like Rampage Said, "U CAN'T Help but LOVE the Guy" 1nce U Dig Deeeeeeeeeeper than the Hype...But THEN, Dude Gets Taken Down Twice & Looks Completely INEPT on the Ground...THE ONLY "Positive" is that Big Country Landed the SAME Pitty Pat Jabs that Petruzelli KO'ed Kimbo w/& He Took them Pretty Good...

Still, Considering All the Goodwill Surrounding Kimbo SINCE the Show Finished Taping & the Promo's from Next Week, it Seems Pretty OBVIOUS That Kimbo WILL Get the Chance to Redeem Himself...Big Country was Probably THE WORST Guy Kimbo Could've Been Matched Up w/in Terms of EXPERIENCE...

LOL at Kimbo being the first alternate. As if other guys weren't eliminated. Dana's a bitch for praising Kimbo and dissing Nelson afterward.

Dana: Hey Marcus, I'll pay you to not fight. Just fake fainting.

REED Won't ASSume the WORST about Dana White, but even w/Out Doing that, it's OBVIOUS that he's MILKING Kimbo AS MUCH, if Not MORE, than Elite XC Did...Shit, Dana's ALREADY had Kimbo Televised Loooooooooonger than Showtime AND CBS Did COMBINED....

REED Can't Say he BLAMES Dana, but the Thing is, Dude was Kimbo's HARSHEST Critic when he WASN'T in UFC...But Now that he Is, Dana's Doing EXACTLY what the Other MMA Company Did...

w/Out a Doubt, Dana White is a GREAT Promoter for MMA, but he's EVERY BIT as SHADY as Bob Arum, Don King OR Any Other Questionable Boxing Promoter....

I'm sure Kimbo will fight on the televised portion of the TUF finale, as even with the loss to Nelson, he'll still be a ratings grabber. But if he loses then, the luster is pretty much gone. I can see the UFC keeping him and using him on undercards just to keep him away from Strike Force, but that's about the only reason I could see them keeping him.

I've always wondered how good Kimbo could actually get to be, and after last night, I think the answer is 'not very'. He just doesn't have the instincts for a ground game. I mean, how do you have a guy laying on your chest and you're not doing anything with your legs or hips to try and get out?

Honestly, I think Kimbo should try boxing. He obviously has some power and could probably do a lot better than he will in MMA where he just seems clueless. And with as badly as we need an American Heavyweight in boxing with some star power, he could probably make a nice buck.

lol you pretty much nailed it, but I found a spoiler on another site that was like an exact round by round of the fight. Even quoting Nelson saying he was going to crucifix Kimbo and slap him until the ref, who was also named in the spoiler, stopped the fight.

It's pretty much guaranteed that that big ass baby Marcus the gardener gets hurt and Kimbo comes back. My guess is he wins his fight but hurts his knee, which is already injured it seems. Looking at some of the interviews with Dana, the Fertittas and other fighters, they all seem impressed with Kimbo. What he did against Nelson was not impressive in any way shape of form. There has to be more.

Kimbo should have gone into boxing from the beginning. However, he's made a lot more money doing what he's doing/did than he would have in boxing IMO. So he made the right choice, and in MMA he has all kinds of excuses he can use for losing.

I do give credit to Kimbo for trying. According to Brendan Schaub's blog, after the fight was over, Kimbo went up to Nelson and asked him to teach him how to escape having a big guy on top of him like that. And to Nelson's credit, he did.

Dana making light of Nelson's win lacked class, but when does he ever not?.....Nelson didn't 'just do enough'....he completely nullified Kimbo.... Kimbo's rare successes never stretched over a couple of seconds.

Someone PM me the spoiler then, I'm curious.

Usually I HATE spoilers, but seeing as this season is so shit, fuck it.

And to the point, this season is SHIT.

I really like TUF, I've found the last 2 seasons very entertaining.

But this one is fucking awful. The standard of fighting is awful, and it's just really boring. Not even any fun and games in the house, nobody nausing each other etc.

Oh and TFK, Kimbo should try boxing? Are you mad?

Even Chris Arreola would have his way with Kimbo. Kimbo would stand less of a chance in boxing than he does in MMA.

I don't know what's with him on the ground though. Sometimes he looks fairly skilled and adept, then at a certain point he gets taken down and does NOTHING.

I've had no MMA training, but I've grappled before, and even I have more instinct to you know, do something, try to squirm out if someone is on top of you, or get them in a hold of some kind etc.

It's like he just freezes up and does nothing.

Yes. Kimbo at least has some skills with his hands. He has none on the ground. He's got a better chance of success in a sport that only uses a skill he at least has some aptitude at then one where there are a number of different skills that he is totally clueless in.

The thing that bothered me about Kimbo against Roy Nelson is how tentative he was with his hands. In all his previous MMA fights Kimbo was like an unleashed hound and went out throwing bombs.

Maybe the Petruzelli knock out ruined Kimbo's aggressive style or maybe he was overly concerned with Nelson getting him to the ground, but Kimbo didn't give himself any chance to win the fight by reigning in his aggressiveness.

Hopefully, if he does fight again this season, he will just attack and let the chips fall where they may. That's what makes him remotely entertaining. He can't take away his only chance, the puncher's chance.

That means Kimbo gets KO'd again if he fights unless he's in the finale.
