steering clear of the results page.....anyone know where i can watch/download this event?.....i've found a torrent but it is like 10gbs
saw the fights live ( well it was on a 2 hours tape delay ) on HDnet, the Minowa-Choi fight was a fix, it was very obvious, Sapp shouldn't fight anymore, or if he continue, he shouldn't be givin an opportunity at this ''level''. It was a very bad decision on paper to bring him back in the super Hulk tournament and he did even worse in the ring, a total non effort and it's obvious he's not taking his career seriously anymore. Aoki is awfull to watch but he got sick sub, caught Hansen with an armbar 10 seconds before the end in a very close but tedious fight. Worst of all, Aoki was koed by an upkick, but as there was a lowblow just before, was given 5 minutes to recover. Left a pretty bad taste in everyone mouth Ruben Williams didn't even throw a punch vs Sakuraba, if you want to put someone with no ground skills at all, at leat put him in with a striker, not someone like Sakuraba who'll got to the ground ASAP, still Williams ''performance'' was shamefull, he didn't even try as the fight stayed on the feet for a good 2 minutes and as I said before, he didn't even threw a single punch, in a perfect wolrd, his purse would be witheld. At least the fw tournament was amazing, Takaya got a lot of heart and was unlucky to lose the decision in the final to Fernandes. Great, great fight, and it's amazing how the judges in Japan aren't biased toward the Japanesse fighters ( but the ref sure are )
sort of set this thread up to avoid spoilers.....i guess most people interested in this card would have seen or learnt the results by now, but still....
