Cloud needs to sit back, get managed well, and make at least 4 defenses before he ever looks toward someone like Dawson or anyone else who could beat him. It's okay to make some money.

Yeah. As fans, we shouldn't want good fights to get made and for the best fighters to face each other. Instead, we should feel invested emotionally in fighters' careers, and support their and their managers' efforts to put together crap fights on TV that don't mean anything.

Good attitude. I don't think you need to worry about Cloud (or any other fighter with an undefeated record) listening to your advice. Whatever he and his team do, you can bet it's an attempt to make the most money (and why shouldn't it be). The problem is, when it comes to boxing, "making the most money" doesn't always (usually doesn't) translate to "making the best fights." But I can see from your advice that you're not interested in seeing the best fights. So you shouldn't worry.

In this context, its more about allowing a relatively green titlist mature properly, give him some room to improve against solid opposition which will
allow him to hone his game such as chris henry, maybe glen Johnson after chad decisions him, shaun george, possibly even hugo garay and Roy Jones in a year or so...but he's got to get a lot busier, I'm tired of these guys fighting 1.5 times a year

Cloud reminds me a lot of Jeff Lacy but not quite as thick which may help his stamina.

I was impressed that Cloud never seemed to slow down his workrate as the fight went on.

He's got a lot of flaws in his game but he may be able to cover them up for awhile with his chin and workrate if he keeps up his training.

He should be a fun fighter to follow, but as has already been said......the fucker needs to fight more then once a year.

Finally got around to watching this on the DVR.

It's a diss to say Cloud reminds you of Lacy, I think he has twice the skills of Lacy. The guy he remind me of is Evander Holyfield. I like Cloud and I have no problem with him fighting the top guys now. It says something in his belief and determination if he's actively trying to prove himself. That is a rare commodity these days.

As for Bailey, he should really hang them up. Dude is completely 1 dimensional. On top of that his jab was absolutely useless and thrown without anything on it. I never knew Bailey's skill was about on the same level as Witter's. I'm not impressed with Urango either. He's fun to watch, but is likewise very limited.

I felt really sorry for Urango when I saw his fatty hillbilly missing a front tooth wife. At least when his career is over he'll be too brain damaged to care.

You have got it all wrong. It isn't his wife. It is his warrior priestess in Christ. Get it straight.
