I think Shane is going to put a serious ass whooping on Berto. Shane looked fucking great against Margarito. If you think about it who has been able to beat Margarito with such ease? Styles makes fights but Im putting my money on Shane.

Well Mosley has always excelled at stopping strong chinned Mexicans because he knows they're usually softer in the body. Still Margarito was one of the slowest fighters I've ever seen that night. I don't think the Berto fight will be as easy for Shane as others think but I'm hoping he'll pull out the win. At this point in his career I just don't know anymore. He could get old overnight any day now.

Maybe Shane should look like shit on purpose so Floyd will grow some balls and fight him.

Yeah? And Floyd ducked the shit out of Margarito. Your hero wouldn't even man up and fight him.

It's not like Santos is some bum either. He's a good fighter.

If the fight hadn't been stopped, Santos would've been stopped.

Either way, it remains to be seen if Margarito's even any good without his cement hand-wraps. If he never fought again, I'm sure Mosley would be happy.

    KING PUSHING FOR BERTO-COLLAZO REMATCH

Apparently Berto is being ordered to face a mandatory rematch with Collazo or risk being stripped of his title. King is pushing hard for the rematch even though HBO & Showtime are reportedly not interested in showing it. I can understand why HBO wouldn't want to show it right now because it would mess up their Mosley-Berto fight, but why wouldn't Showtime be interested in making that fight if they could?

    Because Collazo isn't intriguing.

King doesn't care because he knows Collazo has a chance against Berto and King is all about the odds--you get enough chances, you get enough champs. And then you parlay your champs into money.

Collazo was a tough fight for Berto, but Berto got past him. That should be enough.

Still though, it was a good exciting matchup that left many wanting to see a repeat. I guess it would be worth more in excitement than at the box office and that may be why they have no interest.

Although it doesn't surprise me at all why am I constantly hearing the kind of comments that make it sound that not only is this fight NOT finalized but that Berto doesn't really want it? It sounds more like Berto is going to be fighting Hlatswayo.

Also Mosley says the same thing but says he didn't really want to ruin Berto's career anyway and that he'd actually rather fight Clottey.

So seeing as how Clottey will have just fought Dec 5th, who can Mosley fight January 30th since Berto won't step up? Chicken Mayweather is available but he's...chicken.

That's the SADDEST Part of All of this...Floyd-Shane would B BIGGER Than Floyd-Marquez...Shane would Probably GRANT Floyd EVERY SINGLE Concession that Floyd Wanted, yet Floyd Flat-Out REFUSES to Make the Fight...

Honestly, if he's NOT Gonna Fight TOP Guys, Floyd May as Well Retire AGAIN....

Marquuez brings the hispanic audience, Shane brings no fanbase what so ever.

It's obvious Floyd is waiting for the winner of Pacman-Cotto. Thats the biggest fight that can be made in boxing, especially if Manny wins. Pac-May could possibly do more buys than DLH-May.

P-Will needs a fight now that Pavlik is out so Shane playing the nobody wants to fight me card is and always was bs.

Funny how you expect Shane to take these tough fight, but you sit back and defend Floyd for NOT taking any tough fights. How can a fan of Floyd have expectation like that for another fighter but not Floyd? You think Floyd would EVER fight Williams? Fuck no.

Hispanic Fans KNOW Who Shane Mosley Is from his PPV Fights w/Dela, Vargas & Cotto...Shane's from Southern California After All & a HOUSEHOLD Name Amongst Boxing Fans...Hispanic Fans ALSO Saw Shane Calling Floyd Out Immediately After the Marquez Fight...The FACT is, Floyd Fought in Late September so he Could REALISTICALLY Take a December or January Fight w/Out Sacrificing a Bout w/the Winner of Pac-Cotto @ All...That Fight Won't Happen til Spring 2010 Anyways...

Floyd-Shane would Grab the Mainstreams Attention AND it'd B a Pretty GOOD Fight in REED's Opinion...But CLEARLY, Floyd DOESN'T Want it, which is a Shame...Instead of Taking On the Next Available Guy PROVING he's the Best, Floyd is Sitting on the Sidelines TELLING Us he's the Best...

Like REED Said, if he's Gonna Continue to Pull this Shit, he May as Well RE-Retire...

Nope, and don't expect him to ever. I really have a hard time believing Williams can even make 147 anymore at this point.

Yes they know who he is but if Shane isn't fighting a mexican they won't tune in to watch him.

Manny Pac and Cotto are far bigger draws to the hispanic fanbase. Cotto/Manny Pac winner vs Mayweather will be the biggest fight to be made in boxing.

As for Paul Williams, no Floyd doesn't want to foght him and won't say his name. However Floyd has options outside of Williams, Shane doesn't because Floyd and Manny are not going to fight him next. Shane needs a fight, P-Will called him out so it should happen. Shane is basically doing what your saying Floyd is, sitting on the sidelines saying hes the best but fighting nobody.

Hispanic Fans OBVIOUSLY Tune in to Watch Floyd Mayweather Though...Marquez-Pac DIDN'T Draw Anything Close to Marquez's Fight w/Floyd, so REED's Gonna Attribute that to Floyd...Put it this Way, if Floyd-Marquez Did 1 Million Buys, Floyd-Shane would Do 800,000 @ WORST...

It would Make Financial SENSE (CENTS) for Floyd to Face Shane...There's STill TIME for Floyd to Fight Shane AND the Pac-Cotto Winner...There's Actually a Level of DEMAND for Floyd-Shane...

Shane has Options Outside of Paul Williams Also...Berto WAS an Option...Clottey's an Option...Who Knows what Cintron is Doing Next..Shane DOES have Options...But the Thing is, Being the "Best Fighter in the World, Lb for Lb" Places a TARGET on your Back, so RIGHTFULLY, Shane Wants Floyd...

Not Really Sure WHY U Insist on JUSTIFYING Floyd as he SHAMELESSLY Avoids a Meaningful, High Profile Matchup that WON'T Impact his Chances of Facing the Pac-Cotto Winner...Unless he LOSES to Shane, of Course...

People can't even get there shit straight when it comes to Floyd. When he makes a fight with JMM he is ducking Pac. Now if he makes a fight with Pac he is ducking Shane. Bottom line is if Pac beats Cotto and Floyd and Pac don't fight eachother it would be very bad for boxing. People that know absolutely nothing about boxing want to see the fight and will pay for it.

Fighting Cotto or Pacman isn't avoiding a meaningful fight, it will be one of the biggest fights ever between the 2 best p4p fighters.

Shane wants Floyd now but before his tooth was sore no doubt his stomach was hurting also from all them balco injections there. Shane is known for making the worst business decisions in all of boxing and sitting out for a year in a loaded 147lb division further confirms this.

When Mosley takes a rest for a few months it's a bad decision...though he still fights the top 2 guys in the division Cotto and Margarito..and is schedule to fight a top 5 fighter at 147 in BERTO...

In the other hand when Mayweather takes a year off it's smart decision he was burnt out from the the huge tough fights....he needed to refocus on his career....AKA all the easy fights are over now he has to fight COTTO, MARGARITO, WILLIAMS, CLOTTEY or MOSLEY....so lets retire....

Williams has moved up.....Cintron moved up though nobody wanted to see that anyway....Clottey? NOBODY cares....Cotto got beaten up by Margarito's plaster and has lose something/he is not the same...Mosley just finish losing to Cotto...for christ sake another lose on his resume...MAYWEATHER never gets D's....Margarito just finish coming off his biggest victory....BAMMMG he gets pounded by Mosley and proven a cheater...even though i knew nothing about it..i was still scared of fighting him....

Check list..Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, Cintron, Clottey, Williams...they have D's...so they don't have the privilege of fighting MONEY MAY....cause i'm not interested in challenging any Welterweights....NOW I CAN COME BACK....ANDRE BERTO WHO...? ...that pup is too young to bang head w/ money May....

    R U PURPOSELY Missing REED's Point???...

AGAIN, Floyd ALREADY Fought in September...Pac-Cotto WON'T B Fighting til November...So the SOONEST Floyd would B Facing the Winner of Pac-Cotto is Probably SPRING 2010...That Leaves a SHITLOAD of Free Time Available for Floyd to Do Something Else, like, Uuuuuuum, Who Knows, Actually FIGHT SOMEBODY ELSE???!!!...

Shane WOULD B a Marquee Fight for Floyd & it'd STILL Leave Enough Time for Floyd to Face the Cotto-Pac Winner, Spring of 2010...The PROBLEM Is, YOU & Floyd Apparently DON'T Trust his Ability to WIN that Fight...& Even if Shane Didn't Want Floyd THEN, he CLEARLY Wants Floyd NOW...Instead of JUSTIFYING a Childish Game of "U Ducked Me, Now I'm Ducking U" (as YOU'RE Doing), REED Wants to See a Fight he's Been DREAMING of for the Last 10 Years Or So...Floyd vs Sugar Shane...

Maybe YOU Want Floyd to COAST, but REED Would like to See him Push it a Bit, Just so the Critics WON'T have Shit to Bitch about....

Mayweather doesn't want to risk IT...he will wait and see the final outcome then fight whoever is left....Margarito is gone so is Williams, Cintron and Clottey don't really generate a buzz....

so it's Mosley, Cotto, Pacquiao....Mayweather is not going to fight two of them...toooo risky..he will wait till they beat on each other and he might then honor the winner.

That is unless Amir Khan calls him out.....:fightme: u call MAYWEATHER out you gonna get the pain...unless your name is Margarito, Mosley or Winky..

Apparently Berto got pissed at Mosley's comments and went on boxingtalk and did a little talking himself. Apparently he says the fight is on and he's going to fuck Mosley up now.

He said Berto seemed like he didn't want the fight and that he really didn't want to ruin Berto's career. He didn't seem to be saying all that in a purposefully negative way, but Berto's response was pretty harsh. Check it out.

Berto said that when Shane sees him in person he is cool but then he talks mad shit on the internet. Floyd said the same thing about Shane needing Bernard to put batteries into Shane.

I wanted to see Shane fight Floyd before as well but poor Shane needed surgery.

Now i want to see Floyd-Pac or Floyd-Cotto. In fact ive been wanting to see Floyd fight Cotto for 5 years now.

You guys would make terrible managers. Having Floyd fight Margarito instead of Oscar and Shane instead of Pac/Cotto is incredibly dumb.
