http://mmajunkie.com/news/16430/ant...finalized-for-strikeforce-fedor-vs-rogers.mma I'm amazed they didn't find a way to have Nick Diaz on this card. TFK
Mousasi's opponant has been named....it's Soak-a-Jew. http://mmajunkie.com/news/16435/geg...u-completes-strikeforces-nov-7-cbs-lineup.mma
This is a pretty damn good card. I'm looking forward to it. Too bad it's not in San Jose or I'd be there.
Sokojou is in for a hiding, he's on a bad roll, and it will only get worse against Mousasi. edit: he's actually won a couple fights lately, but it won't matter.
Stikeforce is looking better and better with each signing. They have legitimate P4P fighters in Fedor and Mousasi. Silva is a great addition to the HW stable. You have to love what Strikeforce is doingartie:
This is gonna be MEGA exposure for Strikeforce. They might be a flash in the pan, but CBS guarantees greater exposure than SPIKE. If I were Strikeforce management, I would build bigtime CBS events combined with small upstart CHEAP pay-per-views. Slow up the ante while developing a fanbase with CBS.
I couldn't agree more, I might even stay away from the ppv's altogether for awhile and keep it between CBS and Shotime. Use Shotime for the challenger series and bring up some talent. Keep all your big name fights on CBS. Strikeforce could be a mainstream org within a year.
2 of the top 10 fighters and 3 of the top 15 fighters in the world on the same card is impressive. I can't wait. I just hope new viewers get a chance to see the skills of Fedor, Moussasi and Shields. Hopefully their opponents offer up some challenge.
I was thinking the same thing. Jake Shields really has an oppurtunity to look great in front of the world. I see Fedor and Mousasi winning easily due to subs in the first round.:kidcool: Mousasi could however stand and destroy him, he's on a complete different level than soak-a-ju.
The worse thing that could happen is Fedor loses. It would collapse everything like Kimbo's loss did.
No it wouldn't.You got Strikeforce confused with Elite XC.Strikeforce actually knows how to run an MMA org
Exactly. Fedor losing would hurt, but it would definitely not collapse Strikeforce. They have built themselves the right way.
