Don't buy into that crap that Fedor has done nothing in the last few years. He is still blowing the competition away and rightfully ranked #1. If Fedor came the the UFC he would have the same problem after 2-3 fights. I.E no one to challenge him.
100% agreed. after about 3 fights, we would be wondering who the next up and commer to challenge him is.
What about the fact that Fedor doesn't have cage experience, what about the fact that elbows to the face of a downed fighter are legal. Nobody knows how Fedor will deal with those things. To assume he beats anyone he hasn't fought is Mayweatheresque
I didn't compare him, I compared his fans to Mayweather fans. Both fighters fans just assume he beats everyone without even fighting.
It could happen. Mir is a good HW grappler and couldn't do anything once Lesnar got him down. Not saying I favor Brock, but to give him zero chance is crazy.
Carwin is a good wrestler and his standup appears better than Lesnar's. I think if Carwin catches Brock on the chin, the whole fight changes. I wouldn't be surprised to see Carwin take it. Still, for right now, I think Brock wins it. By the way, Brock talks as much shit as anybody. Carwin is clearly trying to woof it up now and become a bigger draw because, at the end of the day, controversy puts more asses in seats, and more asses in seats because of a fighter means that fighter's paycheque is going to go up eventually.
My prediction is Brock beays Carwin in 2 rounds or less. Flips off Carwin. Flips off the crowd. Then says he will ride his motorbike which isn't a Harley Davidson back to his house.
I think its a wrestling match. I think of it very similar to Maynard vs Edgar. Two stud wrestlers, one just a bit better. It will probably be just as eventful. We all must pray neither can take the other down and they have to stay standing.ray:
Honestly LOK, the only guy I know who thinks Brock would beat Fedor is a guy I work with named Frank who has followed Brock from the WWE. Now like Z said, I wouldn't say its zero chance for Brock but its less than 25%.
When did they fight or grapple? I must have missed it. :stir: This is exactly what I was talking about in my last post.
Lesnar is a stud, no doubt. But don't forget that while Brock was a two time national champ in wrestling. Carwin took 2nd twice and won the national championship his senior year. Carwin was Div II, of course, but that is some serious wrestling, don't kid yourself. Not to mention Carwin was also a two time All-American in football. The guy is as close to a freak of nature as Brock as one can get.
I agree with that. Although my rationale is based on the fact that if they fight Fedor will likely be 75 years old.
something tells me Fedor will live to 70 but Brock won't::maybe that is Fedor's plan, just out live him
