You think Top Rank's that interested in the fight?

They're co-promoting Gamboa now, and Arum's been talking about building that fight up for a bit.

It's a marketable fight, would seem like a potentially very entertaining match-up, and Top Rank has a hand in both fighter's cookie jars...hard to see them putting a Caballero fight in front of those plans.

Top Rank's also been talking about getting Luevano a fight...this would be his opportunity for a major win and perhaps his own showdown with Gamboa.

Wish I'd seen this fight (Juanma vs. Mtwaga).

Was the whole show pretty good?

I think Juanma would destroy Lueveno.

It is up to Juanma to force his promoter to get him Caballero. It is the fight to made. There is still work to do at 122. Luevano is a good fighter, but winning his belt at 126 puts Lopez in a comparatively worse position than he is now.

Knowing Arum, the Caballero fight will not get made so long as there's decent opponents in and around 122 promoted by Top Rank.
