I too was thinking SRL was at the top. Except he didn't fight there very long. But I guess what matters most is what he managed to accomplish while he was there.

I always says this, but Sugar Ray Leonard was my favorite fighter. I thought he was going to become the heavyweight champion and be the first person to beat Tyson. My younger brother thought I was crazy. After he KO'd Lalond I was sure he could do it. Well, not so sure but I thought if anybody could pull it off it was him. He was just so smart in the ring, yet so stupid in that he loved to slug too. Overall probably one of the greatest welterweights ever.

    Tito KO3 Sugar Ray Leonard.

Well, I actually find it disgusting..... yet another Double L's topic, aimed at discrediting Antonio Margarito....Yes, the guy is a cheater....Yes, the guy hasn't done jack-shit in welterweight, yes, all his supporters must apologize to those of us, who only support clean fighers.....But enough is enough....This thinly veiled attempt to spit on Tony yet again is too much...

Huh? Prove to me that your ambiguous choice of words doesn't reflect incoherent thinking.

Floyd has a great resume at 147. A ko win over Hatton, dominated the very tough Baldomir, beat a prime Sharmba Mitchell, dominated JMM and beat Judah.

Huh? WTF did Mitchell ever do at 147? Or Baldomir for that matter?

And let's not forget that Hatton's done zero at 147. Neither has JMM.

You are completely full of shit !!!

Mitchell was in his prime at 147?

In fact, now that you've summarized everything PBF has done at 147, I'm more certain than ever that he's afraid of the best fighters at 147.

I'd like to think you're correct (I hate to think anyone can have his head that deep in the sand). But knowing him, I'm afraid you're wrong and that rjjp4pno1 is all too serious when he says that PBF has a great resume at 147.

You should live in the ocean because you take bait.

So you admit that PBF hasn't done shit at 147, even though he's fought there for years?

It's very hard to top wins over Duran, Hearns & Benitez, even if that was next to all you did.

It's also hard to top almost 20 title defences.

Henry Armstrong acheived the most, althougb Ray Leonard isn't far removed, even with his tiny prime.

  20. Ron King 702

    Ron King 702 Undisputed Champion

Fixer Dela Hoya beat Whitaker, Quartey, Trinidad, Camacho, Chavez 2,Coley,

pretty good even if some of those were fixed fights from that fixer.
