Kessler might be a little overrated, but he should still comfortably defeat Arabham, I'm not impressed by the camel, had it gone the distance it would have been another typical 'tightly contested' Arabham fight, where Taylor could have arguably won 6 rounds.

 

JT really needs to retire. He wont win a fight in this tourney. At least vs Froch he could say he looked good for awhile, but in this fight he never looked good IMO. He has Ward next, and I think Ward will kick his ass. Even if Ward losses to Kessler, he'll still beat JT. Dibella should pull him out, and put in that bum Green.

 

Scores were 105-103, 106-102, 107-102 Abraham, who was lucky to outbox Taylor like nobody before him and then dropped Taylor dead with a single lucky punch although he can´t punch. What a lucky day. opcorn:

 

Outbox Taylor?? It look like he waited for Taylor to tire himself out...applying a minimum amount of pressure early as not to get hit with something...then press on the gas after round 6-7....

 

He outjabbed Taylor throughout. Everytime he used his jab it landed, and forced Taylor to reset. Whereas JT's jabs looked weak, and hit nothing by gloves the whole night. Taylor truly looked finished, but he's always been destined to fail against guys w/power.

 

Everybody knows taylor's weakness

and all are going to wait until he tires then turn it on in later rounds. He's had enough time to try and correct his weak stamina.

The athletic part was never Taylor's prob dawg. The nic was just born w/o a brain, and never developed any real pro skills. The fact that his stamina was always shitty, and his chin always mediocre didnt help either.
It truly is a MYSTERY how Hop lost twice to him.

 

Ever heard of certain styles troubling certain fighters?... Why do you keep insisting, as do others, that it's a 'mystery' ... 'how could it happen?' ... A mixture of pressure,, courage and power,.. what's Hopkins?.. he's a strict counter-puncher who takes limited risks,... it's not a mystery at all why Hopkins faired poorly, it really isnt.

 

Taylor looks fine enough to go through with the Ward fight. If he loses that he can give his spot to Green so Kessler can beat his ass silly. ::

 

The fact is, Frock IS a bit crap, as I always said he was.

But he is tough and determined, and that counts for a lot. His stamina seems ok too.

This is one of those picks, where I'll pick the more proven guy, unless the unproven guy seems exceptional.
