Froch is garbage, I just want that to be clear.

Dirrell may end up better overall if he grows a pair, but I didn't like the first 10 rounds at all.

I think after tonight, 3 of these 4 guys showed they don't ahve what it takes to win this thing

Yes and no. Essentially it's just his toughness and determination that stop him from being crap, at world level.

Dirrell will beat AA, and Kessler will fuck up Froch.

 

Taylor taken to the hospital with a concussion from Abraham not punching hard.

 

If Arabham hit that hard, Taylor would have been taken out early seeing as he was being hit with almost every power shot Arabham threw.

Agreed. He's a good puncher sure, but not the monster puncher people are making him out to be.

Both Pavlik and Kessler hit harder.

he was just saying to the english interviewer that he's just had a hottub craned into his house over his roof and was worried it was going to fall through the roof at one point he said he's going to go home fill it up and settle in with his girlfriend.

he then said he's going to the gym on monday morning to take his frustrations out on hs sparring partner.

 

All in all,great night of fights. The Froch/Direll fight had slow first 4 rounds,but got better towards the end.

Andre was a hardcore bitch for all his running/grappling and falling in the first 5-6 rounds. He has a absolute terrible fighting style for boxing fans. I think Froch gets KO'ed in this tourney. Another thing I want to point out was the absolute bias cock knobbing for Andre from the Showtime crew tonight was absolutely shameful.

And the Abraham KO was beautiful.

His fighting style is more or less the opposite of your namesake.

Arthur does hit hard, and the punch didn't look that hard but lookin at the replay straight on...it hit as flush as you could ever hit...right on the nose and chin, made his ear flip .
And he went straight back, and he looked like Roy did in the Johnson fight...he was hurt, he was not gassed, he was fuckin out...
That was one punch, and it had nothing to do with fatigue, Taylor didn't even look tired.

Ok, I haven't seen the fight,.. but looking at all the other reaction on various forums it seems only Fightbeat thinks the decision was reasonable.

 

Yes, that is if if you actually score a fight on clean effective punching and hitting and not getting hit.

However, if you score a fight on "bitch" factor and body slams, then Froch clearly won.

 

Just got home from my brothers where I watched the fight with a few friends...

All I will say is this. Dirrell is a fucking disgrace. In near twenty years of watching boxing I have never seen a guy so frightened to engage. The guy spent 36 minutes running away, ducking out of clinches and hitting the floor every time Froch came within a yard of him. It was so bad that half a dozen people who had stayed up to watch the fight fucked off halfway through.

Dirrell is EVERYTHING that is wrong with boxing today. The guy is absolutely terrified of fighting, despite being a professional fighter. IMHO he deserved not a single round, on the grounds that if Froch had simply stood in the middle of the ring with his hands up, he would have spent the full three minutes circling the ropes.

Anyone who says that Dirrell was robbed is a complete fucking idiot.
