Taylor should DEFINITELY pull out, but I dont wanna see Green replace him. Allan Green is a fraud. He can punch a lil bit, but he's physically AND mentally soft. I hope they get the winner of Bute-Andrade II as the replacement. Bute could POSSIBLY beat anyone in the tourney except Kess.

Fuck Bunce! Bute would school Bunce's boyfriend Froch, and I'm not even a Bute fan.

You are correct about the last part though. They do need the American angle, but too bad it has to come from a fraud like Allan Green.

The fate of the U.S. is in the hands of two Roy Jones wannabes named Andre. The Euro's got it in the bag.

I don't know about that,.. for one, Froch is DOOMED, his ego has got to be hurtin'... you can forget about him as a 'threat' ,.. and despite the KO, Arabham isn't going to get any hometown favours in America or elsewhere, so if he doesn't win by knockout, his reliance on 'tightly contested' decisions, isn't going to go his way, particularly if he engages in that bitch running he does in the last 20 seconds of each round which is frankly, illegal. Kessler,......I'm afraid to say, is a little overrated around here, he's facing a crop of strong opposition with differing styles, he isn't a certain lock to dominate anybody... so Xplosive, I know you have racial symbolism on the brain :crafty: god bless you, but I certainly wouldn't be panicking just yet, Ward and Dirrell are still very much in this.

I dont think Ward can win it, Dirrell MIGHT still but he's gonna have to mature.

I agree had Dirrell to win the whole thing. people forget its dbl elimination. Dirrell still has a chance. I don't think J.T. should drop out. he didnt fight a bad fight; just got hit by shot-gun right! A.A. has heavy hands and is a exposive counter puncher. J.T. is in next round w/ Ward. Andre is younger and less pro experience. Also Dre could be coming off Kessler lost.

Styles make fights, Ward is a skillfull olympic gold medalist, he may not be spectacular but he's pretty intelligent, Kessler has flaws that can be exploited given the right game plan,.. now, the fact that they're succesful pro-boxers means that their genetical strengths physically and mentally are closest to one another, rather than the average white man or black man,... so there is really no need to panick and hyperventilate on the subject of skin colours, as Ward would annihiliate nearly 100 percent of crackers on the planet, glad we had this discussion, I think you were in need of it, given a couple of your modest outbursts. :crafty:

Sifting through the madness that is Kauki, I accept that a valid point is being raised here. Kessler might well struggle to get to Dirrell, based on the fact that Dirrell will run even further away from him than he did against Froch. Kessler is very strong, quick(ish) and has sound fundamentals, but he is fairly one-dimensional and might end up becoming very frustrated.

If Andre actually comes to fight, he gets KTFO. I'm not exactly holding my breath...

The same sort of analysis applies to Ward, I should imagine :dunno:

Oh, and agreed with X on the thread issue. Fuck Allan friggin Green- get Bute or Andrade instead. Anyone who thinks Bute is boring (and he is) needs to take another look at that debacle in Nottingham last night and re-evaluate their opinion.

Besides, if Andrade wins, we should get fireworks...

:crafty: ,.. YOU..... purchased tickets, and went to a live Carl Froch fight at 2 AM in the morning, you have to be pretty mad to do that if you're supposedly not a Froch groupie,... :crafty:

If I'm Taylor, there's no way in hell I'm retiring. These are BIG MONEY fights.

Agree with the OP...I'd rather see Bute than Green get in. Andrade? Not so much.

Andrade vs Crotch would be a fun fight. 2 sloths fighting it out, may the best caveman win.

Froch might win that one. I love Andrade, but he too has become overrated. Froch is actually quicker than Andrade, which tells you just how SLOW Librado is. But... Andrade has a better chin. It'd be a pretty close fight.

It seems you hate Froch, so be comforted in knowing that he fights Kessler next. Mikkel will lay an almighty ass whuppin upon Carl.

Taylor shouldn't be replaced....it's a fucking tourney...if he's not good enough then he won't be making it to the semis. I dunno if i can see him beating anyone, but he'll be competitive.

If he wants to quit, that's up to him, but he shouldn't be made to.

No, but that's why it is up to him and his team....but from a tournament perspective, i don't think just because this guy appears to be the weakest, should mean that they've got to try and sure it up.

remember, that fight goes on for another 14 seconds, Taylor would have merely lost a clear - but not a super-wide - decision.....and i dont think we'd be having this debate.

I really wish he hadn't been entered into the tourniment in the first place, he's been brutally knocked out 3 of his last 5 outings,.. if Bute was too much of a scared bitch to accept the invitation they should've offered Andrade a place, not only do I believe he would've accepted in a heartbeat, he'd have made for some entertaining fights, if nothing else, and brought aboard some hispanic interest into the tourniment.
