None of these fights are/were mutually exclusive.

Exactly. Like he can only fight one of them. Mayweather could have fought all those guys and he still can and SHOULD, if he ever wants the kind of respect he thinks he deserves.

How Much CLEARER Does REED have to Make it Dude???...Is there a DIFFERENT Language that REED Needs to Type this in for U to Understand???....WHEN & WHERE Did REED Say Anything about Floyd Fighting Sugar Shane "Instead" of the Pac-Cotto Winner???...

The ENTIRE Time, REED has Spoken of Floyd Facing the Pac-Cotto Winner AND Sugar Shane...The SOONEST Floyd Could Face the Pac-Cotto Winner would B SPRING of 2010...Since Floyd ALREADY Fought in September, that's Roughly 6-7 MONTHS of Deadtime...REALISTICALLY, Floyd COULD have Squeezed in a Fight w/Sugar Shane in that Timeframe AND STILL Fought the Pac-Cotto Winner TOO...

As a FAN of Floyd, REED is TIRED of Hearing about him "Ducking" This Guy or That Guy, but the FACT is, that List of Names Keeps Growing & GROWING...Floyd is Actually GIVING his Naysayers AMMUNITION...Sugar Shane is a BIGGER Fight for Floyd NOW than he Would've Been After Shane KO'ed Vargas...

REED, dude give it up. You need to do like I do and just ignore him. Far as I'm concerned he's not even a real poster but just a bot. A fucking Floyd bot. I seriously just ignore whatever anti-Mosley & pro-Floyd thing he says. Don't waste your time feeding him. He's a troll. A fucking Floyd troll.

It's bigger simply because of the great job Floyd has done promoting himself.

Berto sucks. Using terms like top 5 welter is misleading. I agree at least it is a welter, but he is only slightly more respectable than Marquez, meaning not very.

If Floyd fought Berto he would get all kinds of shit. Baldomir was more proven than Berto.

yeah but Shane will be fighting Berto having already faced Margarito and Cotto, not to mention all of the names at 154 that he faced. There's a big difference.

NO...many people would have accepted Mayweather vs. Berto for a comeback fight for Mayweather...plus it would be a quick alphabet title grab..nobody expect May to fight Mosley/Cotto/Pacquiao in his first fight back....after all he could not carry SRL jock strap.

Yup....some people would say Mayweather is a coward bitch picking on the smaller guy PACQUIAO...considering he could have fought COTTO/MOSLEY/MARGARITO but he never did...but as soon as Pacquiao comes up he wants to fight him....

While Cotto and Mosley have been fighting the best WELTERs around..for a while...

Proven to be a loser in 9 fights and draw in 6 others.:lol:You and Neil should shack up in a tree house. This thread is going as well as your hero's interview.

Berto is now promising to end Shane's career. I don't get how this guy can pretend to be so tough when he was damn near petrified to engage with Jurango and feather fisted Collazo had him on queer street. I'm still shocked he took the fight.

No one looked forward to floyd vs baldomir; many would look forward to floyd vs berto.

Baldomir was more proven than Berto perhaps, but if today's Berto fought the Baldomir that Floyd fought, Berto would be at least a 4-1 favorite and probably should be a 10-1 fav

Baldomir is up to 12 losses now. I had no idea he lost to some scrub after Forrest. Yep, he's a great fighter alright.

He was past his prime, after PBF was done with him....
Think about it....the guy demolishes Judah, beats the living bejeesus out of Gatti, and then runs head-long into a monster that is PBF.He was never the same fighter afterwards, although I give him major props for not once loading his gloves throughout his career, like some of the fighters who are so beloved on this board.

What do you call a fighter who dismantles two undisputed welterweight champions in a row, the way PBF did?

Berto was just on this online radio show with R.A. The Rugged Man. He says everything is pretty much done on his end, and the fight may be announced next week during Pacquiao-Cotto.
