No catch weights for PBF. No small oponent. He's in against Margarito. The same guy who I knew was tough and who knocked out Cotto.

Anyone who watched Margarito fight with his loaded gloves, didn't know about the gloves, and still maintained that he wasn't a worthy opponent for PBF, was full of shit !

I, on the other hand, knew all along that Margarito was not an ordinary fighter, but rather a plaster wielding monster in the ring.

His knock-out of Cotto proves it.

Following the doping logic, Margarito hand illegal handwraps in only one fight and that fight was the worst of his career. This means without trying to wear plaster he was more effective, so he would take Floyd.

ha ha ha. yes but it wasn't the worst of his career because of his hand-wraps. after all, the plaster was removed prior to the Mosley fight.

Ok, so we have no evidence of how Margarito fights with handwraps because as far as we can proof he has never done so. And without handwraps he looked solid too and a formidable threat to PBF. He just must not first put on illegal wraps and then take them off, that is what apparenty leads to bad performances. If he did that, FLoyd would win easy

So you're not willing to accept the premise that Margarito's gloves were loaded against Cotto?

Okay. So it sounds like, then, that you're picking Margarito, without his plaster and a guy who was knocked out by Mosley, to be a threat to PBF, if not beat him?

Following the retarded logic and to make the match a bit more stupid-fun and even I will say we should match this pathetic, cheating version of Margarito that Double L seems to be applauding (To nobody's surprise) with a roided version of Floyd. But the kind of perfect roids that would make him x10 times stronger and faster. Oh yeah and he will also be allowed to drink the Pryor special drink in every round because since Margarito's trainer is a cheater as well, Roger should be allowed to cheat too. In this case, I have to say that this perfectly cheating, enhaced version of Mayweather would put such a fierce whipping and destruction of Margaro that Tony would soon forget about boxing and return to Tijuana to put a Taco store.

    Floyd KO3.

Horrible fight for PBF. Margarito will walk through everything PBF throws and will walk him down late. :stir:

Dude, I'm in no way applauding Margarito's cheating. All I'm saying is, ethical issues aside, the plaster in his hands made him formidable. And so for anyone to say that it was stupid to think he was good, when all we had to go by was what we saw him do (culminating in his KO victory over Cotto), is ridiculous. My point is that the people who said he was not a threat were the ones who were wrong.
