BTW - David Haye and R.Kelly look NOTHING alike.

 

For once in my life, I will be rooting for Valuev. I just can't stand Haye. He's got a hell of a lot of proving to do to make up for all the shit he's been talking.

 

They do, my ex thought it was R. Kelly when he was ringside for the Hatton-Lazcano fight. Well that's her though, irrelevant anyway. And yea they do.

 

I can't stand Haye either, I hope Vitali or Wlad fuck him up, which they will when/if he gets in the ring with them. However Valuev is one of the worst fighters I've ever seen, can't stand that guy, even more than Haye. Suppose Haye would be the lesser of two evils.

There is a slight resemblance, but I think it would only be to those who've only seen the 2 when it was pointed out to them that that is R. Kelly or that is David Haye, but if that person saw either one on their own they wouldn't know who it was.

Not that I like Haye, but him taking the paper belt is more interesting than Valuev - Ruiz 3, I hate Sauerland, and know he'll keep the ogre in a protected fish-bowl until he surcumbs to gigantism and dies. Haye is a fraud on borrowed time, and it's his turn to stay in England for a while fighting very careful cherries, I will be interested to see Haye bring out the Fraud-groupie in Britain, he's not a 'sexy, delicious, charismatic, entertaining, brash refreshing heavyweight saviour' as some believe, he's just a trigger for a social experiment to me. :crafty:

 

I think they have at least a passing resemblance. But hey, each to their own, to be fair he was wearing a hood and some shades at the time so I could see how she could have made the mistake. Although I did think it odd that R.Kelly would show up in Manchester for a Ricky Hatton fight ::

Anyway I digress, if Haye loses this he is officially shite. No "saviour of the heavyweight division" should lose to Valuev.

 

I hope Haye wins because he is the kind of fighter who could make the violence-loving fans care about heavyweight again, but I pick Valuev in 6

 

My fear is that Haye get's knocked down or out by a jab or something. If he sticks to the game plan, he should box circles round Valuev.....it could be tough later on fatigue starts to set in.

Another concern is that he tries to knock Valuev out....if he's disiplined he won't do that, but he'll be fighting his natural instinct. I think he needs to test Valuev's chin early, if he doesn't even register a blink, then he should forget about a KO and focus entirely on speed.

I got Haye by stoppage, in the mid rounds, providing that his power carries and that he doesn't get hit by the giant sloth. If he does, he is toast. If his power doesn't carry, he is in big trouble, because I can't see him winning any kind of decision in Germany unless he scores a handful of KD's.
