PAC/COTTO 24/7

Honestly, Pacman's team is out of control. It is so disorganized and Pacman seems so distracted I think this one goes to the judges. I have never been so distrubed by a lack of preparation in my my life. Pacman is too small to run through Cotto like he did a shot DLH and chinny Hatton.

Team members are punching each other. Roach is clearly pissed off at Pacman and all the posse.


Cotto-He is still gay. Athletes are notoriously boring outside of their respective talents. Cotto is Sven Ottke outside the ring.

 

This 24/7 is horrible cause they both lack charisma. PR is pretty desperate for a champion to adopt a boring loner like Cotto. Tito was much more of an electric figure.

 

i dont see why it matters that cotto is boring outside the ring. i am a fan of his because he is an exciting and talented fighter.

 

The thing I wonder is, is it really much different than usual? We frequently hear about some sort of drama going on Pacquiao's team.

Clever editing can always add drama, after all, it is a reality show and editors are used to making mountains out of molehills.

Roach was unhappy with Pacquiao at the end of that episode for not leaving but Pacquiao's already back at Wild Card right now training.

 

This thread is about the show so that is why it is relevant. He is boring as hell. Try to participate constructively. If you do not understand why a LACK OF character ON A FUCKING TV SHOW BY ONE OF THE MAIN STARS IS RELEVANT than kindly do not respond.

It appears to me like Roach wants to treat Manny like a 5 year old kid.

 

My guess is that most people who don't speak Manny's native language don't know the real Manny. And so they imagine who he is, and Manny goes along with it. This probably works out well for Roach, who likes to think of his fighters as sons.

He comes accross as a control freak. He is obsessed with telling Manny what to do. Roach won't walk out on Manny and Manny knows it thats why Manny does whatever he wants to do.

 

I enjoyed it...the typhoon element more than anything else made it really interesting.....HBO lucked out there.

I think they have been together for so long. They know each other so well. But Pacquaio should TRUST Roach's instinct for TIMING in the training camp.

If Roach says there is another typhoon coming in which they could be stuck there without proper sparring, if he says they need to be in a proper LOCATION, then Pacquaio should say when can we leave?

Cotto will be a very HARD fight, i hope Manny doesn't fall in love with his power and the perfect timing of his last fight.

 

distractions in a training camp are one thing but having the conditioning trainer ko the figher's agent is pretty fucking crazy.

But this problem has been brewing since before they started the training camp.

I remember reading an interview with Roach when he wanted to take Manny anywhere but the Phillipines. Roach at the time couldn' get a hold of Manny because his agent Koncs wouldn't pass him through. That's some bullshit right there!

it's no surprise that Ariza beat his ass. They said Koncs tried to kick Ariza and Roach of Manny's team alltogether. I don't understand how Manny allows that shit.

by now it's pretty clear that Roach has been the biggest key to Pacquiao's carreer not just in training him but looking out for his best interest.

This is not David Diaz he is fighting. I think Roach saw alot of this bullshit coming which is why he didn't want to go to the Phillipines. Once there he is just making the best to prepare Manny for the fight.

As far as Cotto well I dont' trust that young dude that's his new trainer. Not sure how much it will affect the fight but he looks younger than Cotto actually.

He was overrated. He was boring when he started but he is exciting in the ring lately. He went up big imo when unlike your fellow midget hero Guerrero, Cotto did not quit when he could have tried to win a fight. Cotto is not a great Welterweight. This fight is intriguing because Pac isn't a welter.
