I watched the Pacquiao/ODH fight again. Not that ODH applied the same sustained body-attack that Cotto will try to, but to be sure, ODH did go to Pacquiao's body fairly regularly for 4 rounds or so. And despite the claims of many, ODH "did" land some clean shots on Pacquiao's chin. Pacquiao didn't like it (who does), but as we know, he wasn't knocked down. And it certainly didn't cause him to be hesitant with his offense.

Cotto's going to have to walk through fire to get to Pacquiao. Often. I'm not sure he can.

Good point but didnt Delahoya take a IV fluid right before the fight because of Dehydration? I remember Roach stated that in a interview..... The point I'm trying to get across is Delahoya was far from his former self that night.

Yeah usually for a big fight, the prediction tally is 2 or 3 times bigger than that.

Come on dudes, this is pathetic.

Sorry I haven't posted in a good little while... I've had my share of problems...

    I say. Pac man decision...

Cotto has a good chin so he won't get knocked out. As long as Pac can stand the heat (which he can) he should have only the smallest amount of trouble here...

I got Pac in this one. Speed kills, and it's gonna be followed by a ton of pressure. The only question is whether he can take Cotto's punch. My guess is he won't have to take that many of them because he's facing a bigger guy and will want to use more movement.

Manny UD12 Cotto. There might be a droppage, but I'm thinking that Cotto will go the distance.

Ehhhh,.. I still dont know about Pacquiao, I will know about him after this fight,..maybe, as I do think it was a BITCH, BITCH move to drain Cotto down 2lbs,.. I'm hoping for a Cotto victory, but he's not coming in at 147 like he should be allowed to.

    Ah fuck it,.. Cotto UD.

I'm rooting for Pac, but I think Cotto will win. Just guessing, but I'll say Cotto TKO over Pac in the 6th.

Pac is better PFP, and will probably be better prepared. But I'm afraid that he is just moving up too far. I think that Cotto will be able to use his size and strength in ways that Hatton and DLH couldn't, and he's no slouch as a boxer, either. I hope I'm wrong.

I'm just glad that Pacquiao's agreed to face "real" competition at welterweight, not just ODH, as with PBF.

And Pacquiao's win over Hatton is more impressive than PBF's not only because he knocked him out so easily, but because it was at 140 where Hatton actually had some success.

You say this like Hatton would have beaten Floyd at 140. Either way obviously Pac was more impressive than Floyd.

No. I say it like Hatton was and is a better fighter at 140. In fact, Hatton's not even a top 10 welterweight. He never did shit at 147 except nearly lose to Collazo.

Lose to Collazo, ill correct it for you. He only had success at 140 because he fought worse comp there.

You can't do anything but admire Pacquiao. He is really going for greatness, and that isn't common. Pac is doing more than searching out the Ruizes as he moves up.

Pacquiao is going to get his face kicked in. He'll have some success early as Cotto starts to adjust to his speed. But once Cotto catches up and Pacquiao slips you are going to hear the cries of the Filipinos as their hero falls to the ground.

    TIMBER! Cotto via KO
