The paparazzo told police that Tyson struck him once, airport police spokesman Sgt. Jim Holcomb said. The photographer fell to the ground and was treated for a cut to his forehead at a hospital. Tyson's spokeswoman Tammy Brook said the boxer was traveling with his wife and 10-month-old child Wednesday afternoon when he was attacked by an overly aggressive paparazzi. He acted in self-defense to protect his child, she said. Tyson and the unnamed photographer both want to press charges for misdemeanor battery, police said. "There's a lot of different versions to this story and that's all going to come out later," Holcomb said. "There were numerous witnesses and that's what this whole case is going to depend on." Tyson was being held at the airport police station and will be booked and released later, Holcomb said. "Right now he is very compliant, very cooperative. He's just waiting in one of our holding cells," he said. The photographer will also be booked once he is released from the hospital, police said.
I agree with you. Mike Tyson is a sub-human(and so is the Paparazzo) . I was clowning Mexican Wedding Shirt about this not too long ago and he argued the whole nuthugger "Mike Tyson has chilled and he is a "nice" person. He says funny things too and he was a great fighter in 1988. I think he should be a chaperon because he is such a "nice" guy. I think it is sad that people keep picking on this poor man.

Yawn. Tyson being violent is hardly news anymore. If he makes it to his 60's he will still be getting into scrapes like this.
You are talking about a man who lost one of his children earlier this year in a tragic accident, just remember that before you judge him in this particular case as fathers are very protective of their kids, I am protective of my kids, and any of you dads out there will understand this. From what I gather, the guy was harrasing Tyson and got way too close to his family, so Tyson eliminated the possible threat to their safety, he didn't know this creepy parasite. The other guy was picked up as well, and Tyson didn't make a fuss from what I understand as he was taken into custody. I guess we will all wait and have to see how this plays out, and hopefully we can see some of the security video. I am no fan of this guy at all, but in this case, his actions may have been justified.
Perhaps this time Tyson wasn't in the wrong. With the increasingly toothless justice system, many people think they can get away with stuff and get a slap on the wrist. If a person comes up to you and gets out of line while you're with your wife and kid, you might get a little physical as well. The paparazzi are often overstepping boundaries to try and get good photos. I'd wait until reading transcripts before making a definitive call. Then again, Tyson hasn't shown himself to be the most stable person at times. Wait and see.
I already said Tyson was probably not wrong this time. It is a pattern. He can't keep from getting in trouble. The savage needs to be put down like the rabid dog he is. Actually, even a rabid dog is higher than this degenerate.
I agree that it is a pattern, but I disagree with the other sentiments. Some people are out there on the fringe, and it's a greater number than many might think. You disapprove and make these comments, but I bet a lot of people would get along with him just fine. He's an easy target, and he's not likely to take shit off of people. Not knowing the whole story, I do know that a lot of people seem to get into scrapes with paparazzi nowadays. Hell, Rebecca Romjin Stamos had one yelling rotten stuff at her to try and get her to react. Tyson is unlikely to allow someone to overstep their boundaries around his wife and kid.
