50/50 split...even across the board...ppv..gate..everything 50/50..BOTH would make 20-25 million on the fight purse alone...but that will probably go up to 35-40 mil w/ the PPV money....

 

If this fight doesn't happen I will give up on boxing. No other match up in the sport comes close to mattering as much.

 

Pacquioa better zip those quickies to the back of the skull though, because Fraud will turn and skim his head along the canvas to avoid aggression, then he'll sprint and hide behind his 90 inch reach. Roach better teach Manny how to deal with illegal impliments, he's a great coach so I hope they have a specialised training session for it, if by some miracle Fraud will even fight him ofcourse.

Simply, this fight HAS to happen. Mayweather needs to man up. I actually think he beats Pacquaio, but if it doesn't materialise then Manny will go down as the outstanding fighter of this generation.

If Floyd pussies it, then i think Pacquaio-Mosley is the only other fight i'm interested in seeing.

Cotto did show us that footwork is the way to beat him however.

Pacquaio-Mosley would be interesting as Mosley is a lot tougher than Cotto.
Manny took the fight out of Cotto & DLH. I don't think he'd do that against SSM

 

Man I can't wait to hear Floyd announce his next opponent and then hear all the heat he starts to take for it when it isn't Pacquiao. Shit after tonight he probably wished he'd taken that Mosley fight when he could have. No way Floyd gets in the ring with Manny now, not a fucking chance. As an optimist, i believe that off the back of the recent arse-tearing he received on radio, and Manny's dominance tonight, his ego will be compelled to prove everyone wrong. Ego aside, from a financial point of view, this fight is by far and away the biggest out there.

HBO have to play their part...they need to play hard ball with Floyd.

 

Yup...HBO should not finance anything Mayweather tries to pull..unless he is fighting Mosley(unlikely since he has Berto in a few weeks)...or..Pacquiao...and the only way they should agree to a Mosley fight if it lead directly to the winner fighitng Pacquiao..

I can't see it. Floyd is too cautious to beat Manny and if he was scared of JMM hitting him he's going to be absolutely terrified of Manny. I don't think he can defend against Manny's speed either. I'd be really shocked to see Floyd take this fight. He might retire again.

Cotto, Hatton, DLH and Diaz all have bad right hands and bad counterpunching and only DLH has good defence. Pacs last tough fight was JMM and Mayweather is a better JMM with better defence, faster hands and a better right hand.

 

Mayweather doesn't just steal Pac's legacy if they fight. At this point he is leagues behind Pac in accomplishment and legacy. He can defeat Pac, and while that will enhance is career, still need to do more.
