If it really did 2m, then the talk of whos a bigger draw ends here. No way Cotto is 2 1/2 times bigger a draw than Marquez. And when you factor in how many fans Pac would have won vs how many Floyd alienated in their last fights then there's no doubt Pac is now ppv king.

But the principle remains - both men need each other equally to create their biggest purses - 50/50 is the fairest solution.

 

Well, I think that Mayweather wins 9 rounds to 3, so if there's a rematch, he can demand the lion's share. I just hope this fight doesn't get scuttled due to purse split negotiations---but IF IT DOES, I hope Mosley gets the nod as Pac's next opponent. That would be a guaranteed all-action WAR for as long as it lasts.

I HIGHLY doubt it's 2 million. I think Pac-Cotto is going to be one million. Pacquiao-Hatton was rumored to be like 1.4 until the real numbers came out.
