Manny's 1.25 million buys means Floyd....

Will have to play it down the middle at the very least. Floyd's always talking about being the biggest draw. This fight of Pacquiao's, proves that Floyd continues to be dillusional about his drawing power and popularity.

I know his fragile ego is feeling it after seeing Pac's numbers.

I guess boxing fans are smarter than Floyd thinks. They buy quality fights with true historical significance, and don't buy in as much to the "beating every lil man out there" extravaganzas.

While PPV buys are both impressive what is most impressive is that Pacquiao vs Cotto generated $20 Million MORE in total revenue. According to my calculations that mean Manny deserves a 60-40 split in his favor when facing Floyd.

But Floyd can walk around saying "I sold 2.4m vs. Oscar compared to 1.25m for Manny v Oscar" - and he can quote their other common opponents and he has outsold him - domestically of course - as well.

It's all speculation. I think if Floyd fought Cotto recently, ie after the Marquez PPV, it would have done no more than the Marquez PPV, possibly less.
