    agREED...

He's Good, Honest, No-Frills, Hardworking Fighter...He's Confident w/Out Being Overbearing & he's 1 of THE FEW Guys in the Sport that will LITERALLY Fight "Anybody, Anywhere, Anytime"...Lots of Guys SAY it, but Paul Williams LIVES It...

Good to See him Finally Getting just a BIT of "Shine"....

I wish he would get bigger fights. He seems like a cool guy. Pavlik was going to get pummelled. Martinez will put up a better fight than Kelly would have IMO.

Martinez is a TOUGHER Style Matchup for Williams, No Doubt...He's Got Some Surface Similarities to Carlos Quintana....

i consider martinez stronger and a bit better than quintana, so we will see if it was a flukish KO for williams in the rematch or the first fight was just an off night for him.

The Quintana fight will always be in my memory. Frankly, I don't think he was focused. Quintana is not a world class fighter. I like Paul, but I can barely understand him.His speech is awful and I am not the easiest guy to undersatand eveN WHEN I don't have a jacket over my head.

hopefully, williams will smash martinez and has better luck w/ opponents next year. i'm really hoping for williams vs pavlik to come through.

That fight needs to be made again. Williams/Quintana III. Many questions will be answered. I dont buy that 1 shot ko.

Not really. Williams has gotten some quality wins since then and is looking for bigger things. Quintana on the other hand never fights.

Anyway, I think Williams isn't a WW anymore. Quintana is behind him and IMHO, the second fight wasn't a fluke, Williams is just better and stronger than Quintana. He would do the same thing in a third fight (That would have to be fought at 154 min). As we speak, this fight is now irrelevant. Williams has bigger fishes to fry.

I don't care to see Williams vs Quinana III......Williams has had a few fights and is looking at bigger better things..Quintana has done NOTHING for quite a while....

though i consider a first round domination more of a FLUKE than 12 rounds outboxing, outfighting, out-smarting...

i dont consider that quintana rematch to be flukish. it's not like quintana accidentally walked into a hard punch. williams went in there w/ ill intentions and succeeded.

Williams/Quintana III would be a major buzzkill for me.

The blue hasn't changed. I think people have not looked at a few things. Hard for a saw-paw to beat a saw-paw. Martinez a very different saw-paw than Winky. Also Paul is fighting at muti weight classes. I; unlike alot of you have had the opp to see Williams fight around his 14th fight in person. At that time you all would have thrown him in the ocean! His feet are huge and he has a problem with fighters that change distance and step around. Look at his only lost and this recent fight. He also can be tricked into giving up his height by control of pace and space. Goto the tape! "The cards never lie!!"
