I have been waiting for the moment to place a bet against Mitchell´s shiny record and shitty skills, but you can´t trust Prescott either for these odds. It´s a 50/50 fight to me, most likely will be a war. I hope Mitchell wins, so his fake record lives another day. I´ll probably throw some money on the under, if it is decent.
Khan is going to look spectacular on his march towards greatness. I think Mitchell CAN win this, I seriously don't rate Prescott whatsoever, he's just strong with a big punch, but due to Mitchells tendency to get involved in a tear up when he doesn't need to he gives Prescott a chance. I think Mitchell will pull through and take it on points.
I agree that it's a real 50-50 fight and I predict an all out war for however it lasts. If I had to pick, I'd take Prescott, simply because he clearly has plenty of power and will find Kevin right in fron of him from minute one. Kevin is a real balls-to-the-wall type of guy, but he is very hittable and very hurtable. Why the dislike, btw? Mitchell is one of those guys I couldn't dislike if I tried: a real, gritty, battler of a fighter. I'm going on Saturday btw, more to see this than to see the main event. I reckon thi one is gonna be a tremendous scrap MTF :cheer:
If that fight goes to points I'll be very, VERY surprised. Mitchell never fights to win decisions- he'll go looking for Prescott and make it a war. It's very possible that tactic will cost him... MTF
From the way he is talking on the Countdown programme I think he is aware of this and is going to try to outbox Prescott, I think for the majority of the fight he will stick to this but every so often will get caught up in a trade off, but I see him surviving those moments to win it on points. Prescott is a strong dude, I can't see Mitchell stopping him.
By the way Khan is going to make a statement, and will beat the shit out of Salita. Then it's onto bigger and better things, and world domination.
I've seen nothing from Prescott and I actually like Mitchell. I think he beats Prescott. Khan is a chinny mofo and has been rocked by smaller guys. The jury is still out on Prescotts dynamite hands.
this should be a good fight. I don't see either guy as being world class...Mitchell is too easy to hit, Prescott too slow and predictable. Mitchell can take a decent shot...but if Prescott can land well early on, then i cant see Mitchell making it to the end. Mitchell's got to be disciplined and utilise his handspeed....he can win this.
Damn this card seems incredibly fixed. Gavin fight gets stopped with 10 seconds left and the opponent standing and not hurt. Simpson/Bell gets stopped on a cut, that was barely visible.
Looks like they told Mitchell to run away for 12 rounds, stay upright and the judges will do the business.
prescott is pathetic and clearly is without a brain, which accurately displays to the world how brain dead amir no chin kahn is.
Prescott is clearly wining the fight, but Mitchell is fighting to a plan apparently. He'll turn it on at some point when Prescott predictably slows down.
It's close, Prescott is very wild....he's missing an awful lot. He's so slow, he's making Mitchell look slick.
ha, not so slick in that round. Prescott getting through....Mitchell seems overly proud of himself for not tumbling. His legs did stiffen, he can't afford to take too many of those.
see when Ed Robinson asked him for a prediction, 'in a word'... about half a minute of Khan's waffling, we finally got one.
