I love it when idiots like you say something like this. Almost as if Green isnt fighting Cazalghe's leftovers.
Yeah, the joke's on him. He retired an undefeated champion. Oh, wait, he beat RJJ 11-1 but didn't stop him. So NOW he's only mediocre. RJJ wasn't trying to win that fight the last half of the fight. IDIOT! :shit:
Yeah, I´m not sure if you are aware of this, but when Calzaghe beat Roy, he wasn´t a champion, he wasn´t undefeated and he didn´t retire either. ::
A fuck the alcohol and this foreign language. :: I thought he was talking about Calzaghe retiring Roy, the undefeated champion.
What's so funny? Let me hit you in the back of the head and see if you laugh. Now if you don't know where the back of the head is I can hit you there to and let's see the effects. Green is a disgusting, dirty fighter and Jones should protest. Reed should be leading this march Cupey
Hmm. Looks like Roy turned his head into the shot. So much for the protest. Dude has lost his punch resistance. It's sad. Cupey
Roy got knocked out fair and square. Roy turned his head, not only that but it didn't land on the back of the head it was the side of his head, almost an ear shot. In any case, there was nothing intentional about what Green did. I knew this was a stupid ass fight for Roy to take. Green is no great fighter, but the dude is tough and packs a good punch. Not exactly the kind of guy Roy should be fighting at his age and level of shotness.
I guess it's hard to guage his level of shotness because he looks so incredible in training. But I guess you are right, he's done. Cupey
Well Jeff Lacy is tough and packs a good punch as well. He just sucks more than Green. There's very few guys Roy "should" be fighting.
Green would kill Lacy. Lacy has been shot for quite some time, and his "power" is not really what it was cracked up to be.
Oh I agree that Lacy's power has been overrated but he's no feather fist. If he landed solidly on shot Roy he could have put him in trouble too.
Roy has his own continent on planet KTFO. It's amazing he was able to hide that glass jaw from even the competition he fought.
There it is! The reason his KO loss enhances his legacy. His ability to hide that china chin for so long. ::
I agree with Z. I really don't see a problem with the KO at all. It was the way Green loaded up the shot and the way Roy moved his head the same moment. Sure,it was maybe a little behind the ear,but still,it wasn't intentional.
:::: It´s true though that for all of his prime he never ever fought a skilled puncher. His best opponents were Hopkins, Toney, Griffin, Hill, Harding. All skilled boxers, but they couldn´t crack an egg. The first real skilled puncher he met was Antonio Tarver.
Green's got some hard hands,.. if he knocks your ear, or your temple, it's hard to recover,..same with Pavlik I suppose, that's all they've got going for em'.
