Best fight of the year?

    he was being hyped here on fightbeat when he was training at wild card but when i actually saw him fight on espn, i lost interest rapidly. i was actually shocked that he beat a guy like cordoba who i thought was a pretty decent fighter.

    needless say, that was indeed a slugfest and it was a tremendous win for a guy who was written off as a serious contender by most folks who've seen him fight.

    anyways, based on significance alone, i thought marquez vs. diaz was a much more dramatic fight considering i actually looked forward to watching it. :lol:
