Prescott is big for a lightweight. Kevin is that small. He's now winning the fight on my card, sweeping the last four.
Prescott is indeed big for a lightweight, but Mitchell seriously looks like a featherweight. He is like 5'5 or 5'6 and scrawny.
He is pretty scrubby. I'm far from a Mitchell fan (I've barely seen him fight) but he looks to be winning the fight to me.
Prescott's biggest problem isn't that he's slow, wild or anything like that. It's that he's FAR too confident in his power and doesn't do the little thins, like GO TO THE FUCKING BODY YOU HEAD HUNTING MORON!
Prescott is not even a puncher. He´s just a typical Columbian scrub, whose power is exposed outside of Khanlumbia.
:: "Beating Prescott makes you world class". Say what you want about British commentary, but you can't accuse them of bias. ::
Mitchell > Khan :: Mitchell is not world class, but he is better than I thought. He can box a bit. I know Prescott is an oaf, but still, I think Mitchell is a decent fighter, better than British level.
Really? Who has he stopped, besides Columbians and Amir Kahn, who was put on queer street by a featherweight with a 5% KO percentage. Everybody has power, if they punch at stationary glass chins. 3-2 with 1 KO outside of middle and south american cans. Lamont Peterson stopped Toledo in a round, Prescott couldn´t stop him at all.
Prescott's shitty record has more to do with his complete lack of intelligence and predictability, not his lack of power.
at what point are the Sky team gonna tell it like it is?.....Salita was well out of his depth....a farce of a ppv.
Yeah, but that is kinda like saying, he would have awesome defense, if he would move his head out of the way of punches. Prescott has Tyrone Brunson power.
Prescott is Amir Khans Oliver McCall, well done to Mitchell but he ain't on Amirs level, despite the win, Khan will fucking batter him and he has bigger fish to fry. Don't worry, I'm expecting the criticism of Khan from an uncriticisable performance, but the dude is the real deal and over the next couple of years will prove me correct, just as Pacquiao did when everyone was doubting him, the proof is there for all to see. :kidcool:
Haven't seen the fight but delighted for Mitchell. I like that kid, he has a lotta heart in the ring.
Good call Slice: Mitchell fought smart and picked Prescott apart in the end. Impressive stuff and I for one was delighted for Kevin- he's a likeable little fucker and he deserves a title shot now. MTF
I hope he does mate, he deserves it after being on the backburner for so long. Looks like Marquez is going for Hatton at 140 so Mitchell will be fighting for the vacant title, do you know who it will be against?
The WBO interim champ is Michael Katsidis, so he's probably the most likely I'd reckon... MTF :dunno:
Khan would make Prescott cry in a rematch :: Na, seriously though, he just got caught cold, fair play to Breidis, he done what he had to on the night but Mitchell just did tonight what Khan was expected, and should have done, back at the M.E.N.
...but couldn't and as a result got KTFO. You can't gloss over or change that fact. Even with all your monotonous diatribe, you can't change history.
I'm not trying to, Khan got sparked ::, we all know what happened. The fact is, he was expected to beat Prescott, and should have as he is an ordinary fighter with a big punch, as I have said all along. He got caught early and paid the price. Big deal, it brought him out of his comfort zone and he has improved tenfold, if anything it's the best thing which could have happened to him in the long run. Fair play to Mitchell for the win, I like the guy, he just isn't as talented as Khan, regardless of his win tonight.
