Tim Bradley vs Lamont Peterson

The good reason is location. Stick them on neutral ground and the fight would be closer to pickem.

 

Well Peterson was a really good amateur but he lost twice to Rock Allen because Rock brought a lot of pressure. Timmy will do the same thing and this might be Petersons downfall.

 

Yeah and Timmy knows that too. He's going to bring the pressure nothing fancy. Bodyshots and workrate is his gameplan.

Fact is, you should look drained when you only weigh 140 lbs.

I want to think that all of these guys get bodies like that without illegal help. I wouldn't bet on it, however.

 

Started out at +260 and is down to +185, so some people have and more should. :crafty:

 

Didn't care much about the matchup....but this fight is AWESOME....Bradley was kicking Peterson ass for 2 1/2 rounds..dropping him hurting him on a few occasions...but after the knockdown Petterson gut up...and started landing body shots...and Bradley has slow down a bit IMO...cause he was hurt by those body shots...getting drop lit a fire on Peterson..he still hasn't won a round but he is being competitive now...

action has slowed down after round 5...Bradley moving and outboxing Peterson. Lamont lands the occasional hard right hand, but Bradley has taken them well.

First 3-4 rounds it look like a complete mismatch. Bradley hurt Peterson a few times with right hands, then drop him in round 3.

ROund 8 Bradley kicking Peterson ass again...RIGHT hand can't miss.

 

Peterson landed a big counter right hand on Bradley chin right before the bell....Tim took it like it was nothing. Peterson look disappointed..

 

Bradley is fighting an excellent fight. He looks like the best 140 pounder.

 

Bradly still beating Peterson...Lamont lands the occassional hard right or left hook...but Bradley taking them well. Bradley outboxing Peterson..

 

Any good 140 pounder would look this good vs. Peterson. It's man vs boy and Peterson was nowhere near ready for this fight.

I have to give Timmy his props. I thought it'd be a close fight, but Bradley won going away.

 

I think he was ready. Tim just proved to be better.

 

Khan has talent and will progress, and as of right now I'd favor Tim.

 

Bradley is a very solid fighter.

For some reason I just can't get excited about him though. Probably because I really only like fighters with power, it gives them that extra edge and excitement factor.

If Bradley had power he'd be an excellent fighter.

 

Ready because of what? The litany of quality contenders Peterson fought on the way up? Because he's proven his worth along the way? WHat has he done exactly?

Dont get me wrong, Lamont is a pretty good fighter who could be better than that. But he's not now and he wasn't going to win this fight today. He's not seasoned.

Grace Jones to be precise,.. seeing him reminds me of that guard in 'the cell' that slams Jennifer Lopez against the wall, flips her over her back and takes her to the serial-killers lair,.. a womans head, a porcelin doll, sewn on to a male body-builder,.. oddity fighters are awesome.
