According to some of you, getting clowned {by the right fighter, of course } actually IMPROVES ones resume, not the other way around.:notallthere::notallthere:

I see,.. so,... that means, you may infact be an anti-action degenerate boxing fan,.. similar groupies include Hopkins fans and Fraud fans, "cleaner, harder, blows" (despite them having a 20% KO ratio a piece) welcome with open arms brother they say, so you fit in?...:crafty:

Salvador Sanchez wasn't a world beater, either. He did nothing in his 30's.

I am just saying that sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander- its time AA got some of that Hopkins Cranberry Jelly, so to speak.

    Bronco did nothing in his 0's, 10's, 20's, 30's, 40's..............

The only time Bronco did anything in any of those digits is when he travelled, North to South during December.:nono:

Well he's not going to get a share because Hopkins groupies, just like Arabham groupies have a self-serving agenda,.. they know there aint no philosophy about it, but thier man must win, by any means neccesary, for the benefit of some form of empowering symbolism,.. though,..Im not sure what Arabham represents for you,.. I thought a right-winger oughta hate them Arabs?.. :crafty:

Of course it doesn't, what on earth gave you that idea?

Hopkins put a huge dent on Pavlik's resume, and "exposed" him to some extent. Pavlik looked pretty fucking bad against Nard.

But still, he has a better resume than Arabham.

And like I said, better to be clowned by one of the best middleweights ever than lose to fighters like Eastman and Miranda :kidcool:

In all honesty, that's a stupid reason to like a fighter.

Like a fighter because of what he does in the ring. Fuck, even saying you like a fighter because you like his face and image is better than liking him just because he is disliked.

I can understand that. It's why Paul Williams is currently the most perfect fighter for me to support,.. all action, resembles a different creature, and Fraud groupies dont seem to like him much (similar to Jermaine),.. Im on that dick like Heidi Klum! :crafty:

Tall Paul isn't disliked. Most people like him and consider him a pretty fun action fighter.

I don't know of one person on this board that hates Tall Paul.

You missed my point. Harry Simon was superb. There is no reason to believe otherwise. McKart sucked, but concluding that based upon Winky losing to Simon is loco.

Well, it stems from when Paul started getting hyped up as a definite candidate to beat Fraud, and the groupies got quite tense about that, "He's overrated!" and expressed it as such when Quintana beat him the first time, now he doesn't have an '0' anymore, "hahahaha! go to Light-heavyweight where you belong!".. Flashy counter-puncher groupies generally don't like him either,... despite this, I was still suprised at how many known Fraud-groupies stood up and cried about Martinez being robbed,.. it gave my favouritism for Paul a good jolt.

Why? People only like Jesus because he got crucified.

I saw in Abraham a guy who had a lot of explosive talent, who liked a brutal highlight reel KO when the opportunity presented itself....who was tough and relentless and dedicated to his sport. Then he beat Miranda when he wasn't supposed to.....and it just went from there.

Why the Americans spend so much time selling every Ortiz, every Hernandez, every Jimenez to a suspicious Latino audience is beyond me- they could sell Abraham in California, if they could get past their Euro Bias first.

For sure, Abe wouldn't disappoint them like Quit Job Ortiz did.

Yeah, when Xplosive and Illuminati said that Ward had no chance against Kessler, NO CHANCE! ,..I informed them that they were grinding it like Halle and Vida respectively,.. so it's only fair..:crafty:

Harry Simon was a good lightmiddleweight....not a whole load more. He had some nice wins over Brit-Pop fighters and a good win over Winky, as did Julio Cesar Vasquez, who had him on the mat 4 times I believe.

, Loved that shit,... though you being a right-winger, oughta have put your hand to your heart, for me it was a great character study of one of the world's most realistic and dangerous predators.

I took you for no other reason that I needed a sweet face to buy land,.. bastard from a basket,...........bastard from a basket.

It was a great and eminently quotable film. Day-Lewis lives very close to me, in Ireland....I would love it if he got in Hopkins face and said......."Joe Calzaghe. He's the smart one. He's the prophet..stop your snivelling"

Abraham lost to Jantuah and Eastman and Miranda in the first fight. Pavlik has a shit resume too, but he got exposed by a light heavy. Abraham lost to the troika of terrible.

biased if you ask me irish

you say that Abraham unlocked the door against Miranda as a way to discredit Pavlik kicking Miranda's ass...but you forget in that fight that Abraham took some terrible punishment and was lucky not to lose so what door did he unlock?....then say abraham was the underdog against Miranda in their second fight as a way to prop up Abraham knocking Miranda out..this is the same miranda that was knocked out before by pavlik..LOL..if anything Pavlik's knockout of Miranda is clearly more impressive

then you say Abraham knocked out Taylor....yeah thats good....this taylor had already lost twice to Pavlik....an undefeated and at the time..RISING SUPERSTAR that pavlik beat twice on neutral grounds.....by the time abraham got to him..taylor had already been brutally knocked out by Froch..i mean talk about leftovers from leftovers

    cmon man

I disagree with this. JT has ALWAYS been the same fighter. The guy simply never was that good. Even prior to losing to Pav, lets not forget that Taylor looked like shit vs Ouma, and struggled with Spinks. Froch, and AA woulda both beaten any version of Taylor.

I dunno who'd win between them at this point. Pav could outwork AA for awhile, and probably bust him up.... but I have my doubts of Pavlik's chin being able to take AA's power.

Froch would have beaten any version?... Before Jermaine's mental decline, I'm pretty sure he'd have lasted what?.. 12 seconds away from victory while he's shot?..

    Halle please,..:nono:

i can agree with the last part, but the rest??? DId u really watch the fight? He didn't dominate nothing. Not 3rd third not 6th 6th or whatever. He was huffing and puffing from like the 6th/7th round and if Wegner wouldn't have questioned his ego all the time he might have quit.

Seriously i'm with you on all the Arthur praising and i think u could call his resume better and i give him a great shot against Pavlik or anybody but u need to stop making legends...

Yes..and AA looked good doing it. He never went down, never got taken the distance, was never hurt, wobbled, frustrated. He gave away 3 early rounds, then took over, with total ease. He looked like a guy who could KO Taylor whenever it suited, and that's just what he did. He also outjabbed Taylor which sort of sits uneasy with this notion about Abraham being there to be outboxed.

16 fights. 16 fights. Who was Pavlik fighting in his 16th fight? I'll tell you who he was fighting.....the sort of opponent whom beating would teach him nothing, hence his Casper The Friendly Ghost performance vs Hopkins.

More of this "he lost", "he might have quit"...how very facile and glib. Its just thrown out there like it was cold hard erect fact, when it isn't.
