Well? Can he? I was impressed by Dirrell vs Froch...I think he showed fast hands, and some pop. How much of a role will this fight being in America play? Will Arthur be outscored by the "busier", "More active" Dirrell..... Or will Abraham walk him down and land that heavy artillery?
You were impressed by Dirrell? Are you insane? That was one of the most disgraceful performances I've seen in a championship fight. It was hideous and disgusting. No I don't think Dirrell beats Arabham, he is too much of a bitch, and I'll actually be rooting for Arabham ::
He made Froch angry, reckless...forced him to lose concentration and then hurt him in the 11th......it was a Split-Dec, right? He went to England and nearly pulled it off.......thats impressive enough, considering Dirrell is a pugilistic novice by comparison.
I still havent seen that fight yet, I should've when I had the chance,.. how did Dirrell's running compare to Haye's recent bout?..
It was pathetic, he fought like the biggest bitch since Junior the Shitter Witter. Running, holding, falling to the ground. He made Frock reckless? What choice did Frock have? He was fighting someone who would rather run away than fight. And it is Frock we're talking about, he's not exactly a finely tuned fighting machine is he? Frock isn't hugely experienced himself. Dirrell is hardly a novice, and that was a downright disgraceful performance, Dirrell should never be shown on TV again. That's also the sort of performance that has fuck all to do with experience. A bitch is a bitch. Morales had a similar level of experience when he fought Zaragoza, you didn't see him running like a cunting little bitch for 12 rounds.
Much worse. It was more frequent, more pronounced, and had an overall more pathetic air to it. A lot of collapsing and falling at Frock's feet, just a plethora of pathetic-ness.
On paper this appears to be the typical Abraham fight. He'll get outworked and outboxed until he lands something big to end it.
I think Dirrell is a good fighter, he did fight like a bitch against Froch but I still had him winning. I can see him upsetting Abraham in this one.
WTF? So what? :::: That's like saying Seldon buzzed Tyson before being KO'd by a phantom punch. Way to go!
What? Against Taylor, Abraham was dropping early rounds by way of inactivity. When he jabbed, he out-jabbed Taylor. There is no "out-boxing"...just guys being marginally busier and winning the round, if even.
Once again we're in agreement Mex. I will be rooting for Abraham and I can't stand Dirrells disgusting merging of two sports. Track and boxing.
I really don't see how Dirrell can win this fight. He will make it unbearable to watch as long as it lasts however. :shit:
I'm picking Dirrell by UD. I think he's a bad style matchup for AA, and that AA's lack of workrate will bite him in the ass in this fight.
The fight will be in America so obviously a judge will be chosen who will let Dirrell fight his negative style. So expect clinches galore, enough crotch kneeling to put a porno to shame, and sprints that might only be 2 or 3 strides in total.
I know Abraham is a bit conservative with his work rate but I have to laugh when I heard the words "outhustle" and "outwork" in the same sentence as Andre Dirrell.
