I absolutely despise it when people act like Hagler was some face-first brawler who took three punches to give one. "Oh he was such a determined guy who got by on will and toughness". I turn into a boxing snob when people continue with stupid myths like that.

I remember some clowns on ESB saying "Hagler never ever took a backwards step".

Most people have only seen the Hearns fight and believe that "version" of Hagler is what he was all about.

Theres ALOT of retarded things said on ESB daily.... much dumber statements than that one in fact.

Some clown on ESB said that Nicolino Locche's defense "average, nothing special".

I couldn't agree more. Hagler was anything but what is reputation says he was. He is also one of the biggest whiney cunts in all of sports. He literally will cry for an hour on end if someone turns on a Mic and asks him about the Gay Ray fight. You lost Marvin, clearly. You got punked on the contract and punked in the ring, by a blinking, coke snorting retard.Merry Christmas.

I agree about Hagler. I've always felt Hagler was a pretty nifty boxer actually.

The Hearns fight is the only fight of his I've seen where he has brawled that much.

I like ESB's classic section. The general forum is filled with idiots, but is better than it was a couple years back. Boxingscene is way worse.

absolutley, throw in Marvin's appearance and his general tone, and it makes it SEEM like he was that type of fighter.

    he wasnt

He was first and foremost a boxer
