 didn't Paulie unlike Floyd go on record saying that Manny is on something? The hypocrisy is amazing.

Yep. However Malignaggi is trying to get into the same financial bracket that Floyd currently resides at so maybe that's his motivation. Plus there is the possibility that maybe Paulie just isn't that afraid of a Manny fight and Floyd is. And so now Manny goes from a superfight to a tuneup. I'm starting to think more and more that this whole thing is just publicity and the fight will happen. No scratch that, I am convinced that it is.

I won't be watching this garbage. In fact I doubt I'll bother watching another fight by Pac or Floyd until they're standing across from each other. This is some class A bullshit.

Yep. Also who is to say that Paulie won't be asking for the same testing since he is adamant that Manny is on the juice.

This isn't a court of law...it's the court of public opinion...and as of right now Pacquiao is guilty till he proves otherwise.

Fucking rumors can fuck a guy or gals reputation that quick........

Hey like i said before....Pacquiao will be face w/ the same question for the rest of his life.."why didn't you agree to the testing for the Mayweather fight? you had no problems fighting the best fighters around, until Money Mayweather ask for something unthinkable....

Is Manny breaking any rules ? Does he not pass all tests as required ????

It's Floyd who is moving the goal posts.

BTW, Manny breaks Paulie within 4. Ouch.

If Floyd thinks Manny looked less than stellar vs Morales, Marquez, and says that Hatton was shot and Cotto had been in a lot of wars, why is everyone else insisting that Manny is on this "improbable" run of fantastic form?

If Floyd himself thinks that Manny Pac only made really low weights thanks to being very young, and that he himself could have made those weights if his father had turned him pro at that young age, then why is everyone making such a big deal of how far he has come up in weight??

If Oscar picked Floyds gloves for him and Floyd was not happy, then why is Floyd suddenly happy to allow Oscar to present Manny with even more onerous stipulations??

    Its all here:

    Hahaha, excellent point

From the Flid's mouth, Floyd himself sees nothing extraordinary, so what's the problem? Just sign the contract :kidcool:

Yep! Floyd's backstepping! You can't blame him. I actually kinda like Floyd after I saw that video of him counting $1 million in cash which he had stacked in his wardrobe.
But we gotta be real. If you were in Floyd's shoes and there was this crazy Bruce Lee-looking motherf*cker who attacked more ruthlessly than even a prime Tyson and had absolutely butchered guys like DLH, Cotto, and Hatton(in a far easier fashion than you could), would you want to step in there with him and risk losing not only your credibility as a top boxer but your precious undefeated streak?
We all know the kind of damage that could be done to Floyd's little legacy if he were to lose. He don't wanna lose that. It took years to build it and having it torn down so abruptly would hurt.

:dunno: what does that have to do with anything....?? Mayweather just flip the script on Pacquiao this time around...just a tiny request...and Pacquiao is barking and crying like never before.....

"Request" is the key word! You can request all you like but you don't get everything you want in life, ILLU. Floyd's job is to step in the ring and fight(or backpeddle). He doesn't want the fight. And his demands now go against everything he ever said about Pacman leading up. Ain't ever happened before that a boxer demand this level of drug testing. Floyd is scared. He made every excuse in the book to avoid this fight and now the walls came closing in and he found a way out! Genius!

Again it's only drug testing....drawing a lil bit of blood a few times leading up to the fight...it's not like Mayweather wants Pacquiao to fight him at 154 or something...

A few fighters and trainers start gossiping about the possibility of Pacquiao being on Steroids...and Pacquiao gives 'em some credibility by crying when Mayweather ask for more rigid testing...

Yahoo, boxing sites, espn already carrying the story about some folk in boxing questioning Pacquiao, and now that Mayweather ask for a few test..Pacquiao is completely refusing to be tested...

QUESTION....how can these drug testing HURT Pacquiao?? how?? UNLESS he test positive..

I´m sure the NSAC penalty for every pound over the weight limit isn´t 10 million dollars either.

    This is fuckin simple:

Take the test Mayweather demands or flatout say that you don´t allow any testing outside the standard requirements of the NSAC. Everybody can draw their own conclusions from there, but all the excuses, threats and insinuations Arum/Pacquiao have come up with in the last 48 hours make him look really bad. None are legit and most are laughable.

    1. I´m afraid of needles. Manny smirks during HBO 24/7 blood tests and has numerous tattoos.

    2. Manny is superstitious.

    3. Manny threatens to sue Mayweather for alleged slander through doping test demand. Meanwhile Arum offers contract to Guido, who actually accused Manny of steroid use.

    4. Roach says Manny would be weakened by amount taken too close to the fight. Yet every other athlete in an Olympic regulated sport allows for random testing every day of the year (rough estimation 100.000 athletes all over the world). Have you ever heard one blame a poor performance on being blood-drained?

    5. Arum says blood tests are useless anyway, so Manny doesn´t do them, but he could on specified dates.

    6. Mayweather is scared, and the testing is his way out. Yet Mayweather already accepted Manny´s ridiculous weight demand penalty and all Manny needs to do is call Mayweathers bluff. Apparently Manny is no Phil Ivey.

    It all doesn´t add up.

Word. Hundreds of his countrymen will be going through the same procedures in preparation for London 2012. These aren't outrageous demands, even if they are unprecedented in professional boxing, and if Floyd requested them knowing full well pac man would not agree to them, that reflects worse on pacquiao than mayweather. I love pacman and hate floyd, but if the fight never happens as aresult of this incident, floyd has scored something a lot greater than a KO against manny.

    Boricua please.

The most extreme drug testing in the history of the sport for a fighter that's never failed a drug test or been linked with PEDs in any way is not a "tiny request".

Exactly my take. I hate Mayweather too and I like Pac. People are blinded by their love for Pacquiao. These demands aren't outrageous at all. If Pac had asked the same of Floyd and Floyd was reacting like Pac the same posters that defend Pac would be ganging on Mayweather.

I'm very disappointed by this turn of events.
