Mayweather backs down from USADA demand

According to ESPN’s Dan Rafael, Team Mayweather (through Golden Boy’s Richard Schaefer) has backed off insisting the USADA do blood tests prior to a proposed fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., providing random testing is administered until an agreed upon date prior to the fight.

Backed into a corner, with a costly lawsuit, no $50 million Pacquaio fight, Mayweather did the SENSIBLE thing and backed off the Olympic test demand.

According to Arum, it's up to the Nevada Commission to enforce it if they want to.

This shows Mayweather WANTS the fight, he wants random testing and won't back off of that but if they want to use another agency go for it. The ball is on Arum's court.

Everyone knows in the week leading to fight, the workout intensity diminishes, the fighters are on weight. There is no need for blood testing 48-72 hours prior to fight night. Unless the only intention is to mess with your opponent's preparation.

Perhaps if the Mayweather's and G publicly APOLOGIZE for starting rumors and innuendos about Pacquaio, that they state Pacquaio has never testing positive for anything illegal, that they agree with a CUTOFF time period in the week leading to the fight, MAYBE the fight negotiations can go forward.

 

Floyd is probably just at home stuttering, asking Ellerbe and De La Lovesongs what's going on, what the olympics are, what random means, and is he going to have to fight Manny Pacquiao?

 

I think it shows Mayweather NEEDS the fight to get out of putting his foot in his mouth, losing millions to Pacquaio without ever lacing them up and continue in the financial mess he is in.

He currently without OPTIONS. He HAS TO fight Pacquaio. The latter on the other hand has options' galore. He could WAIT until the lawsuit is settled which could take TIME, earn purses as he waits while Mayweather earns Manny's money, THEN he could maybe fight him.

All this talk of Mayweather wanting out of the fight but who's the one that any time they don't like something in the contract they throw other's names out? Pacquiao's team, not Floyd's. Floyd coming out and agreeing to have some other agency do the testing as Arum insists proves Floyd wants the fight... The question is, does Manny want it too?

PEDquiao didn't try anything to get out of the fight, Floyd did, with these stupid demands.

His team are probably persuading him hourly to fight Pacman, that Pacman probably isn't on roids, that he'll beat Pacman easily, they're probably giving him blowjobs too, sucking his balls etc.

Proof would have been letting this go to a court of law. Get a high-profile lawyer who can really dig into Manny's past and find any problems. That's a whole career of potential cheating to search through, not just 1 fight.

If you have been following the case CLOSELY, then you can not possibly come up with that conclusion.

Clear your head of any preconceived notions, of what's going to benefit whom, READ up on what both sides want with regards to testing, then come back with a more informed post.
