the follow up from Henderson is the most sadistic thing i have seen all year. Henderson seems a decent, down to earth chap outside of the cage, but that was a real bastardish thing to do. Nate Marquardt on the other hand.... :bears:
I really just don't see it Adamiw. Dan hit him and followed him to the mat with another punch. Text book MMA if you ask me. You are always told to keep finishing till the ref stops it. Which Dan did. I am really starting to like Hornbuckle. I have only seen two of his fights, but he just signed with Bellator.
It wasn't an illegal blow, but Dan knew exactly what he was doing. He took a lot of joy in that follow up blow, one that was impossible for Bisping to defend himself against. And judging by Hendo's post match comments, he took a lot of joy in it too.
I think he was asked about it and said something like "that ought to shut him up". I see your point Adamiw, I just don't really think it was as bad as what you make it out to be. I still think Dan is a class act. If anything, it took a dick like Bisping to bring even that much shit-talking out of Dan::
The one Nick Pace hit Collin Tebo with after putting him to sleep with a flying knee looked worse to me...
Yeah you're right - just looked more brutal to me the way he wacked him + the sound + the fact that it was a knee right before that.
There's no doubt that was sadistic and cuntish. Yes Bisping is an utter twat, but still :: I was quite surprised actually, I wouldn't have thought Dan would do something like that.
Usually I don't think Dan would do that and I vaguely remember him saying as much after the fight, but hey it was Bisping, the great white English hype.
