Why didn't Floyd accept $500,000 per successful blood test?

I just saw on ABS-CBN, a Filipino network, Arum was giving an interview this morning. He said he offered Floyd a $500,000 per successful blood test compromise, and Floyd's camp rejected it.

Since Floyd is the one asking for the blood test, not the commission, Floyd is trying to keep peace of mind for himself, not any governing body.

When I pay for car insurance, I'm paying for peace of mind for myself, not for my neighbor. Why should this situation be any different?

I think $500,000 for each successful blood test is pretty fair.

    Floyd is just scared.

The issue is with random testing. Saying stupid shit like, "I'll bet you 500k that I'll pass the one test that they'll let me know about four months ahead of time" is just dumb.

Yes, they would accept random testing but only if it was $500,000 per successful test. Floyd refused because he wouldn't pay for his lies.

How about if Floyd comes in on weight Manny pays Floyd some moolah just for making weight.

Did Mayweather actually turn down an offer whereby he paid $500,000 for every clean test???

Coming into a fight on weight is required by the commission.

Can I see a link for this random testing they accepted? Because I just read the blurbs this morning and they are still refusing it.

If it was indeed random, then this is a good starting point towards making this fight happen again. Hope they make it happen soon.

Stricter tests aren't against the commission rules just as stricter enforcement of weight limit aren't against the commission rules. He was justifying the weight "by-laws" because it is against the rules to come overweight in a fight, why the same argument doesn't work with stricter tests? After all the commission demands that fighters come into the fight clean.

Read what IMDAZED wrote above... Mosley never got caught either...

Anyway, you were here a few days ago talking about Manny's needle phobia. Then it was religious beliefs... After it was: Mayweather is scared... Then it's : Mayweather isn't the boxing commission...

Now you're gloating because Manny is asking 500K per succeeded test... Do you realize how fucking ridiculous Manny looks now with all these successive excuses? Probably not...

What's wrong with paying for extra test? If you want extra carbon fiber trim on a car, you pay for it. Floyd is asking for extra, and should pay for it. You need to go back to a local community college to take a basic economics course.

Hey fatty, I have a master degree in economics, I could teach you economics shithead.

Making sure a guy is playing by the rules isn't an extra, it supposed to be a given. Maybe Mayweather could ask 500K just to use regular padding? Yeah, that makes as much sense as the turd you tried to portray as an argument.

A masters degree from a degree mill doesn't really impress me. I've seen people with masters degrees who didn't know much about their field of study. Where are you published? Where have you given talks?

You can't even grasp one of the key concepts of economics even with my simple example.

This is or is not true. For the simple fact is that urine test does not detect HGH or epo. So we don't truly know if he's been 100% clean. I'll Holla 5000

So Pacquiao would accept the fight if Mayweather pays $500,000 per successful test which would mean around $3,000,000 total yet he's willing to walk away from $40,000,000 or more if Floyd doesn't pay? Seriously, wasn't this about the commission or some bullshit like that? Am I the only one who thinks this looks worse on Arum and Pacquiao?

I've got nothing to prove to you. And the fact that you try to argue a matter that has nothing to do with the subject of this thread shows how little you have to defend your hero, fatso.

You don't know enough about economics to know what's a key concept in it. The only thing that motivates you here is your fandom. We both know it. The arguments you present sucks, even if you try to give them weight with your pedantic tone.

what happens if pacqiauo passes several tests and fails the last one, is it like a game show where he keeps his previous earnings?

We dont 100% truly know if he is dirty, either.

And in the United States....you are innocent until someone stands up and proves otherwise.

I agree with you though, we dont know if he is clean. There is doubt. But he gets the benefit of the doubt...thats how it works. Its America, not South America.

It is Floyd who is walking away from $40m for the want of paying $3m.

Floyd could make this happen by agreeing to pay for the tests.

Who brought up their "masters degree"?

That's what I thought. I think the question of your academic "credentials" is settled. :shit:

Exactly, these test might cost Floyd $3,000,000. This is a guy who claims he is "Money" and all his stuff is "paid for." $3 mill should be chump change to him.

You told me I needed a basic course in economics, I answered that I had a master degree in that field. I wasn't trying to pass myself as some decorated academic, that's not my kind at all. And anyway, people with M.Sc in economics aren't usually decorated academics, it shows how much you think you know about the subject. Don't project yourself on others fatty. You're the one here that tries to pass yourself as something you're not. Personally I couldn't care less about who you are or how fat you are or how many times you've won Manilla's big tits contest. I want to argue the subject of the threads, not try to divert the attention towards a subject that has nothing to do with the subject at hand. Nice try though fatty.
