Fair enough. He wont take the tests because he doesn't have to.

I know Mayweather is a great defensive wizard but he was just trying to take the sting off from his punches, weighin at another division that he has never fought before and test the crap out of him where no professional fighter has been tested before allegating he is juicing to be so spectacular.

I don't know why the Pacquaio camp is so mad about? He MUST be juicing...

In a sea of REEDs and Joe Kings, these are the kind of post that make me think there are still some worthy posters here.

Looks like the fight is officially off:

Team Mayweather rejects Top Ranks final offer. Now Floyd can go back to "stealing some more money" as he so elequoently put it. Fucking coward.

Now we can all relish and celebrate Pacquiao's 'natural athletic brilliance' as he defies physics with his tiny frame and fucks up middleweights in 'unprecedented' fashion, he can steal money too, and give it to his opponents for a career-high gag purse, in return for no advanced drug testing procedures.

I had this discussion with Reed....the problem was that if Manny Pac goes to NC, so do a lot of other fighters, and not only is boxings immediate future ruined, so is the last 20 years.

    You want that?

If he has nothing to hide then he should have agreed to this. Now there will be questions about Pac. He missed out on a HUGE payday over this.

In the long run this will hurt Pac more then it will hurt PBF.

If Floyds people get the cameras out, get the film "makers" out, get the press out, have every 2bit shock Jock and PR man working this..then they can cause Pac some hurt, no doubt.

If Pac wins his next fight as Mayweather sits around....then that would even it back up.

And If Floyd has not fought one of Paul Williams, Shane Mosley, Margarito, Winky or Cotto between now and 12 months from now, then Pac eases ahead of him again.

    Simple.

Your wrong! All Pac needed to do was agree on the testing. If he has nothing to hide then he should have never hesitated. For a payday of that magnitude not taking the test to shut PBF up was a dumb move! Now there will be doubts/controversy about Pac over this.

Only for a while, and unless he fails a test or his name is actually linked to steroids (a la Mosley) - it'll blow over, and people are going to assume that he isn't roided up, and didn't want to be bitched around by Team Flid.

And if Pacquiao remains "officially" roid free, Floyd's legacy takes far more of a pounding for not fighting Pacman, and for this fight not being made.

There will always be questions about Pac now. People will always wonder why he didnt decide to take the Olympic style test.

    Mayweather officially punked out.

He wasn't willing to compromise. Now he can go back to dealing with the IRS about how much of his stuff he has to sell.

If I was innocent. I would play it the same way. I would clean out their wallets in court and then clean out Floyd Jr in the ring for the next big pay-day he will make more money that way. I just just hope he has something tieing GBP and Jr. to some accusations.

It will hurt Floyd Sr as with his public, on record, accusations he will be doing under the table work trying to make straight cash until the end. Because he's not going to be able to afford to pay Manny the money he has lost.

It will hurt Mayweather Jr. because he loses his big payday and has to look for another fight. I'm betting he goes for Cotto and winds up tailing Manny from here on. Margarito is a joke and Winky is shot IMO and they wouldn't be good paydays. He will duck Mosely and Williams. He will also go on record as ducking Manny when Manny finishes reaming the whole clan.

    More power to him.

Because he is not required to by the sanctioning bodies. Simple.

Also you guys forget, Arum offered a compromise in the form of $500,000 per successful blood test (which is fair since Mayweather is the one asking for the extra testing).

Floyd rejected it, because well... he's a cowardly man.

All Bruce Lee had to do was agree to the testing. If anything Pac was punked out!

Would you take $40 million to take it in the ass from Michael Clark Duncan? Michael gets to unload inside of you too.

Your missing the point! He refused to accept the test. WHY? HE GOT SOMETHING TO HIDE plain and simple. Because if he didnt he would have agreed to it. END OF STORY!

They didn't refuse. Arum offered a $500,000 per successful blood test compromise and Floyd rejected it.

If Floyd is asking for extra, he should pay extra. That's capitalism at its finest, not a hard concept to get, especially if you call yourself "Money".

How does that make him cowardly. Your boy refused to take tests based off of integrity. Now to top it off is going to fight Malignaggi who is accusing him of being on the juice. Only Pac fanboys will support bullshit like this.

I thought it wasn't the randomness that Team Manny had a problem with, it was more the chances of having blood taken close to the fight, which of course random testing could translate to?

It's both. They're having a hard time getting their story straight.
