Perhaps U've Heard of the Latest Phenomena???...Fightbeat's NEW Favorite Pasttime, PAC SAC Swinging???...Your Arms AIN'T Toooooooo Short to Box w/GOD & Even Though PAC's BARELY 5'5, your Arms AIN'T Toooooo Short to SWING from his SAC Either...

Pro-PEDquiao Sentiment has Gotten Soooooooo OUTLANDISH, that OBJECTIVE Fans of his R Actually Siding w/Floyd Mayweather (a Fighter they HATE)...Here's 2 Examples...

I seriously never thought I'd see the day where I took Floyd's side on anything, never mind against Pac and never mind in a situation where a large % of this board were against him. You guys are seriously fucking blinded by bias in a messed up way.:cheer:

Basically, everyone here agrees that the tests demanded by the NSAC are a joke. It is confirmed by an expert on the matter (Conte) that also says only random testing is efficient against PED cheating. Still, Pac supporters cling to either of these arguments :

    1) Pac was never caught before (How could that happen????)

    2) Mayweather doesn't have to enforce any kind of testing on Pac (A simple matter of principle).

They conveniently step over the obvious questions that comes to any objective mind : "Why such a big fuss over random testing?" and "Why give up millions of dollars if you're clean?"

These questions don't matter because of the lame arguments they present. What really irks me here is that none of them seem to be interested in making sure neither of these fighters cheat for what will be the fight of the century. Basically, it seems they don't mind that the current tests are a joke and they don't mind Pac's extremely suspicious behaviour. All of this to teach Floyd's team a lesson or to cling to some question of pride and integrity. I call BULLSHIT to that. You guys act like fucking cheerleaders. Period.:cheer:

    I don't know, man.

I browse these boards frequently and when Schafer first announced the reasons for Pac pulling out, most of the responses here were "Gee, why does pac have a problem with this? "This sounds real shady." Three days later and now I'm reading, "Who is Floyd to demand this?" "Pacquiao should sue up the a**." It's like in 72 hours FB forums have been replaced by a bunch of Arum clones.

It's a HIGH SCHOOLish, POPULARITY Contest, Brother DAZED...No MORE, No LESS...Guys LIKE Manny Pac & LOATHE Floyd Mayweather...As Such, No Matter WHAT Floyd Does, even if it Can Potentially BETTER the Sport, his Angle in this will ALWAYS B Looked @ Negatively...

Conversely, Even Though LOGIC Says Manny CLEARLY has Something to HIDE, Since he's Well LIKED, Guys R WILLINGLY OVERLOOKING It...Casting a BLIND EYE to the Very REAL Possibility that he's Using PED's...Guys MARVEL & What he's Done & CAVALIERLY Throw the Word "Unprecedented" Around, yet when Eyebrows R RIGHTFULLY Raised, All of a Sudden he's "Innocent Until Proven Guilty"???....

Like REED Keeps Saying, THE EASIEST Way to Deal w/this is to Just PASS the TESTS...If Team PEDquiao were CONFIDENT N Manny's Chances of Doing that, there's NOfuckingDOUBT they Would ALLOW the Random Testing...PEDquiao SAC SWINGERS Know this Too, but Again, they're Toooooo Busy MAN CRUSHING on him to Think RATIONALLY...

Signs that you may be delusional:

REED: "Mayweather is asking for more stringent testing because he's doing it for the good of the sport."

I guess the real message here is that pieces of shit, even if by some convenient circumstance find themselves championing a just cause, cannot, because of their shitiness, affect change.

PBF needs to lose like everyone else. And I need to watch it happen.

THEREIN Lies the Problem...Toooooooo Much of Your Focus is on WHO Requested the RANDOM Testing when it SHOULD B on the LEGITIMACY of Random Testing Itself...Now If Pac was the 1 DEMANDING Random Testing, U'd SUPPORT it 100%...

    U've All but ADMITTED It!!!!

Random testing could be flawed. Illuminati just said so.

If it is flawed, and it is unfair to ask Bedwetter to pay for every test, then why the burning desire to have this flawed new system introduced?

I understand why Team Pac is so hesitant on the testing issue. If he were to test positive it would be a huge blow to boxing and his Legacy as a fighter. High risk including if you are on some type of illegal performance drug. :crafty:

    1. If, as Floyd says, Manny did not look so good vs Morales, Marquez, and that Hatton, Cotto were on the slide and Oscar was drained, why the sudden reliance on the old story that Pac's performances were "improbably good"

    2. If the new testing is not fail-safe, then why the clamour to have it introduced?

Mayweather's motivations are irrelevant though. EVEN if it's all a power play (which it clearly isn't since he's made several concessions to Pac in order to make this fight happen), so what? It STILLLLLL comes down to Pac backing out of the biggest fight of the last 20 years to avoid a more stringent doping protocol. Ive read about 100 pages of Pac nutswingers (including MWS, who is usually an extremely sensible dude) twisting and wriggling on this issue and none of them have been able to obfuscate that very simple bottom line.

Hut*Hut, you're one of the few people here who I consider intelligent enough not to troll, but do you really think this is anything but a power play by Mayweather?

This is the same guy who said he found nothing special about Pacquiao beating Dela Hoya, Hatton, and Cotto in a TV interview mere weeks ago. Now he's making it like he's going to be stepping into the ring with a roiding machine who might end his life.

    C'mon man.

PBF's motivations determine largely his ability to rally support among the public for his demands on Pacquiao. And that's why overwhelmingly the press and the public have sided with Pacquiao on the matter - because PBF is a piece of shit, and any position he takes immediately becomes the "wrong" one.

PBF may be able to hold securely his place on the P4P list by not fighting anyone of note in his own division. But he's shit out of luck when the guy on the other side of the table isn't simply grateful for the chance to face him and willing to concede every possible advantage.

Pretty much. The S.F Examiner, BBC, and USAToday have universally panned Mayweather's antics.

FightBeat seems to be the only place where a sizable percentage of the population thinks Pacquiao is a guilty roider.

Ok, lets say it's 100% a power play from Floyd, for talking sake. This is after Floyd making 3 minor concessions to Pac which could be considered 'power plays', namely purse parity, the MASSIVE (unprecedented) weight stipulation forfeits & glove choice. And before he backs down on his one power play and agrees to a compromise on the doping tests, at which point Pac reneges on his offer of that compromise and talks about a LAW SUIT.

Now, again, the focus on Floyd's motivations is misplaced energy, no more relevant or illuminating to what's going on here than Pac's motivations in his three demands which Floyd conceded to. The man walking away here is Pac, not Floyd. And he's walking away because he won't take part in a more stringent doping protocol, end of story. Now the original olympic style testing may have been problematic in disrupting training. But Floyd has already backed down from that demand to a much more modest procedure. So clearly it isn't the disruption to training thats the problem. And we've already established that in terms of ego points at the bargaining table Pac has more chalk on the board than Floyd. So we're back to Pac backing out of the fight to avoid any random drug testing at all.

If my posts seem repetitive, it's because they all end the same......there's only one relevant point worth talking about here.

*sigh* what advantage has Pac ceded to Floyd at the bargaining table here?

That Floyd's a piece of shit, (which he really, really is) is again, totally fucking irrelevant.

Does Floyd want pastel points for agreeing not to come in at the last minute at over 147??
