huh? i haven't said Pacquiao has conceded any advantages. why would he?

    Floyd's suppposed concessions:

    1) Purse parity - This was a given from the beginning. I don't see how this is a concession by Floyd? Pacquiao-Cotto shit on Mayweather-Marquez. It's more of a concession by Pacquiao considering Floyd has done fuck all the past 2 years. Now REEDtards will bring up "common opponents", but people who have a basic understanding of economics knows that it's more about when (time) fights happen, otherwise Marciano-Moore which garnered $2,248,117 at the gate would be considered a financial failure according to today's time (not back then). Today's blockbuster fights are even making Trinidad-Dela Hoya look pedestrian, and that was only 10 years ago.

    2) Pacquiao's weight concerns - I would agree $10,000,000 per pound over would be ridiculous if Floyd didn't have a history of ignoring contracted weights to gain an unfair advantage over a smaller man. As it is...

    3) Glove Choice - I'm not sure what concession happened here. Floyd isn't going to be using Grant, his preferred glove?

I don't think anyone is walking away from anything. At least, not Pacquiao. The fact is Pacquiao has lucrative options. He can wait for the Mosley-Berto winner (assumed Mosley), and fight him for very close to what he would get for fighting FraudWeather. In the interim, he can bank $10,000,000 in a tuneup with Paulie. Combine a Paulie, and then a Mosley fight, and right there, he's back in business making lots of money, effectively freezing FraudWeather out.

What options does Fraud have? Matthew Hilton? He won't fight Cotto, Paul Williams, or Mosley. He basically has no options where he can make any money close to what he'd get fighting Pacquiao.

Now, ask yourself again, who is losing out here and who is walking away from money?

Also consider Pacquiao isn't getting fingered by the IRS with liens either.

Whatever. Its very simple. Get tested (as requested) and the fight is on. The way I see it, It's Team Pac that dont seem as confident about the test results here otherwise there wouldnt be any issues.

    Yeah yeah.

Floyd can make $4,000,000 beating up Hatton's brother.

Pacquiao can get a guarenteed $15-$20 million fighting Shane Mosley after he crushes Berto, and it would be for the lineal welterweight title too. In the interim, Pacquiao can also bank another $10,000,000 fighting Paulie.

Floyd is the one walking away from a payday, not Pac.

OK, I agree, Floyd has more to lose. But that's the not issue. And it kinda plays into my point about Pac being the one backing out of the fight....

As for the 'concessions' by Floyd - I never said they were major concessions or concessions that ANY REASONABLE person wouldn't have made. I'm not trying to give Floyd credit for making them. Im just saying A) that they were climb downs from his original position that he made because he wanted the fight to happen B) that his demand that we all know for sure that Pac isn't DOPING isn't any more unreasonable than those concessions C) Pac isn't similarly willing to make a reasonable compromise.

what Mayweather can't fight Mosley or Malignaggi for the same/ or more money than Pacquiao???

If Floyd stuck with his original demands, it would've been at 154, with 10oz gloves, 65/35 split for Fraud, and blood testing 3 times a day.

I'm not saying he couldn't fight Mosley for good money, of course he could, the problem is he won't fight Mosley (for whatever reason, probably fear).

YET you and other Pacquiao nut swingers say MAYWEATHER doesn't want to fight Pac...

    If Mayweather didn't want to fight..he would not accept 50/50 split....at 147...whatever oz gloves...etc..etc...

Yeah, I guess wanting an equitable fight and split is extraordinary for Fraud.

He is the bigger PPV star....so yes it is...he could have bitch about lil stuff like 51-49 but accepted 50/50

i personally am not a fan of pac and would be rooting for mayweather all the way to beat him down, but as far as this testing issue is concerned, i think they're both questionable.

    1. pac's excuse of being 'superstitious' to blood testing before the fight is pretty skeptical. why not just take the fucking test if he's truly clean?

    2. mayweather nor GBP is above the sport of boxing nor any athletic commission to demand this olympic style testing. if mayweather doesn't see anything special about pacquiao and is that dismissive about his skills or lack there of, then who gives a shit if the guy is on PED?

there's a lot of money involved, why not just fight?

the biggest surprise here is that there hasn't been any dispute in regards to the purse split.

I'm sure Pac is juicing, just like everyone else. The issue is Mayweather's camp throwing out a baseless accusation just because Pacquiao has erased Floyd's legacy. Its a bitch move by them.

It would be one thing if there was some public outcry surge to crack down and improve testing. Its quite another to turn what could've been a great situation, having the two best guys fighting each other, and now its some MTV bullshit.

Thus, it's the most perfect time to introduce advanced random blood testing procedures into boxing, we've got two fighters, percieved as the two best, ontop of the hierachy, reiping the MAXIMUM benefits of this sport from the fans, with the whole world watching, there's no better place to begin to go someway into healing boxing's notoriously corrupt image that have turned so many people off the sport in the first place.

I agree. Change the tests completely and let this fight be the fight that does it. But make it the actual test and not just some stipulation. thats all im saying. And if these new rules get put in place, and pac still refuses it, fuck him and his ugly mother.

Plus he already said he would do it if the NSAC required it.

You're only as good as your last fight/PPV. Pacman did the bigger numbers in their most recent fights :kidcool:

Exactly. I'm tired of explaining simple concepts like this to meatheads like ILLUMINATI. The only thing this guy is good for is wacking off to porn (because he doesn't have a girlfriend), and giving shitty round by rounds.

This is very close to my thinking only I'm neutral on who I like the most. However I agree that Pac is being suspicious and Floyd is playing god. I also agree that the real way to handle this would be to try to have the rules changed rather than just ask for an exemption for 1 fight. Had that been Floyd's initial move then we really could have credited him with making positive change within the sport.
