If the fight does happen, & it happens in accordance with the normal rules laid down for every other fight in history (ie-not including an unprecedented, not included in the rules, NOT as per standard procedure stipulation demanded by PBF), & Manny wins: Will ANY PBF fans give Manny credit for the victory?
Depends on HOW Pac Wins...If he BLASTS Floyd Out in HattonESQUE Fashion, it'll LEND Credence to the Belief that he's JUICING...If it's a Somewhat CLOSE, COMPETITIVE Fight that Manny Comes Out Winning, then that'll Look MORE Legitimate... Basically, if Manny's SPEED & SKILL Win the Fight, he'll DESERVE ALL Credit...But if his STRENGTH & POWER Win the Fight, he'll RIGHTFULLY have to Deal w/the PED Issue... REED:hammert:
Seriously, when has there ever been evidence of steroids turning a fighter into some super human wrecking machine? Mosley apparently was only roided for the second Oscar fight, and he looked crap, worse than the first fight. We know what it can do for sprinters, but to my knowledge there are no examples of a boxer going above and beyond what is usually capable due to roids.
sounds like your getting ready not to give Pacquiao credit even if he wins. :: How he wins might have a bit to do with Floyd regardless if he imposes his power or out speeds him. Besides if the fight happens Pacquiao would have already gone thought some type of testings correct?
Won't happen, as in the PBF fans will not give him credit, or were you just answering the thread by not answering it at all?
In other words, if this fight proceeds the same way as any other fight in history proceeds & Manny wins via early K.O, by definition he's on PED's. O.K then. Now just to clarify your position further (using your own words): If Manny wins via STRENGTH & POWER, he's on PED's If he wins via SPEED & SKILL, he'll DESERVE ALL Credit (not on PED's). Now, a couple of questions: Would you say that Pacs win over Hatton had more to do with: STRENGTH & POWER or SPEED & SKILL? Would you say that Pacs win over DLH had more to do with: STRENGTH & POWER or SPEED & SKILL?
:: REED is getting slaughtered in this thread and he doesn't even perceive it which makes it much more entertaining, and sad.
Ex-fucking-actly. This is precisely what I've been getting at. He is in a lose lose situation. He beats the shit out of Floyd, undergoing the same testing that he AND floyd have done for every single fight in their entire careers, he is on PEDs. He agrees to more involved testing and loses - he was obviously on PEDs before, and that's why he lost to Floyd, no PEDs.
And looked what happened there. Drago went down like sac a bricks and looked worse than he ever has before. Drago was calling Rocky a piece of Iron.
What I would also like to know, is why doesn't Oscar have a clear idea if Manny is on PEDs or not. According to some (very reliable) sources, Roach dishes out the PEDs like fried breakfasts. Oscar was once trained by Roach. Surely Oscar would have a more involved insight into this, but so far, his biggest insight is "Er, yar, Vargas's, Mosley's and Pacman's punchees all felt the same! They were steeroid punchees!". And given Roach's apparent reputation, I'm curious as to why Flid didn't demand Olympic style testing of Oscar when they fought. I'm also curious as to how Floyd was able to take Oscar's left hook flush, when he was buzzed or floyd by the likes of Hernandez and Corley, at lower weight classes. It's very suspicious. How can a slender 130 pound fighter move up and just take a junior middleweight's punches flush, hardly blinking? I also find it suspicious how "natural" Floyd looks at welterweight, with seemingly no more bodyfat than at 130 pounds. Roids!
Whats funny is De La Hoya's doublespeak. He actually claimed before that Manny doesn't hit that hard http://www.boxnews.com.ua/en/news/4959/2009-02-22/Oscar-De-La-Hoya-Says-Pacquiao-Doesnt-Hit-Hard :: Which is it Oscar? Either Manny hits hard or he doesn't. Now he's claiming Manny is some kind of steriod freak and his punches felt like Shanes' and Vargas'. Oscar is a clown but he's obviously saying Manny hits hard now because Golden Boy is on a witchunt.
Damn. Oscar DID say Manny didn't hit hard after Manny kicked his ass. Total witch hunt. Good job collecting facts unlike a lot of the REEDtards here.
If Pacquiao had jumped at the chance to be tested more thoroughly and kicked Floyd's ass, he would have gotten major props from Floyd fans and everyone else. Now, no. And he'll get no props from far more than just Floyd fans if he wins. Ironically enough, not testing positive for one fight doesn't really prove anything, but Pacquiao is/was so likable that he gets the benefit of the doubt from everyone.
And Guerrero had an opportunity to fight Salido again and declined. I really don't blame him for this and to his credit Salido looked like shit against Cristobal Cruz. I saw Salido fight Pearson, Beasley and Neal a long while ago and he looked something fierce in those fights.
I liked Salido in those older fights, too. A lot were replayed on Fox Sports Espanol's Combatientes and I was rooting for him going into the Guerrero fight--not confident he would win, but hoping. But, he had losses for a reason and as good as he looked at times in his earlier fights, it wasn't as good as he looked against Guerrero and the opponents weren't as good as Guerrero. His stamina was in a whole different league.
When did Mosley test positive for PED? I mean didn't he submit to urine tests for the DLH fight? I'll Holla 5000
