The complaint is flawed in many ways.

I have never heard Floyd Jr or Oscar ever say that Manny takes roids.

Paulie M says it every other day and there is no lawsuit filed against him.

Pac looks worse and worse everyday.

Well many of us here knew it was Mayweather SR. not JR who was talking about "something" being up w/ Pacquiao...i never heard Jr say anything about Pac and roids...

how Pac and his lawyers can make a mistake like that is crazy...

Paulie is going to make a few million for running his mouth...and he won't take much punishment for it either..it's gonna be a brutal 3-4 rounds..follow by his chin getting shattered.

Why isn't Manny filing a suit against him. Also he filed against Roger who hasn't said anything that i'm aware of. Manny can't even file suits against the correct people

    That's the MILLION Dollar Question...

The PAC SAC Swingers R Prepared to BASH Floyd if he DOESN'T Insist on Olympic Styled Testing for Matthew Hatton (Nevermind that 100% of the Boxing World would FAVOR Pac to DEMOLISH Mattew even QUICKER than he Did Ricky), yet they Say NATHAN as Pac Prepares to Face a Guy that's Been even MORE VOCIFEROUS in Accusing Pac of Taking PED's than Team Mayweather...

CLEARLY, the Pro-Pac Faction has Been Waaaaaaaaay More HYPOCRITICAL During All of this Drama...

Thats where you keep making the SAME mistake...you have the matter divided into Pro-Pac and Anti-Pac.

It is somewhat more complex than that.

They are talking about the RA show where RA schooled Mayweather. In that interview, Floyd mentioned PEds.

No, it's not. I dont like Pac and I largely dont give a fuck about Mayweather. Do I dislike him? Probably, but I never loathed him, I just know his routine and find it irksome. As I keep saying....there is a little bit more to this than you would like to make out.

For openers, I said a looooooooong time ago that this shit starts in the boardrooms..anybody who has reduced this to a matter involving two fighters alone is a fucking retard.

For what it is worth, the person doing the broadcasting is the one that gets sued. If I am interviewed by RING and I say that Jeff is Floyds father, its Ring who get sued by Floyd Sr. Maybe I get sued too, but Ring definitely get sued. Unless Jeff IS Floyds father, which is a distinct possibility.

"Probably"???...The FACT that U're LESS than Genuine about your TRUE Feelings in Regards to Mayweather Renders the Remainder of your Post to RUBBISH...

So Like REED Said, this is CLEARLY a Matter of LIKE/DISlike...Those that LIKE Pac R BLINDLY Overlooking LOGIC in this Matter AND, they're "Conveniently" the SAME Posters that think the LEAST of Floyd Mayweather...

    Coincidence???...HARDLY...

Because in law you also have to prove damage.

Paulie is a big mouth, but it would be almost impossible to show that he proved any 'damage' in the legal sense of the word. His BS caused precisely NADA that might sound in damage at law.

The rest of the complaint would found on the failure of a $$$ million payday to come to fruition. That, in law, sounds in damages.

Let's see, Mr. Pacquiao, you could have mitigated damages by agreeing to a few random blood tests between scheduled blood tests you expected and were willing to take? And instead of cashing in on $40 million you would prefer to fight Mr. Mayweather Jr. in court because of his opinion of you, a public figure? Well, of course, we will award you millions of dollars in damages...

Kinda like Leonard Ellerbe is as an important of a manager and advisor to Floyd as John Horne and Rory Holloway were to Mike Tyson.

If Mayweather-Pac isn't made even you have to admit REED...Floyd fighting anyone (except Paul Williams) other than the winner of Mosley-Berto is a bitch move.

    Matthew Hatton? Come on.

Let's say Floyd fights a hack like Hatton-lite and Pac beats Foreman...

whatever financial agreement they have goes out the window...it's not a 50-50 fight at that point.

Let's say there was a curiosity factor for Floyd coming back against Marquez...what's the excuse for a fight against Hatton-lite?

I'd rather have Pac get his ass whupped by Foreman to be honest.

I'm sick of both these queens at this point.

In law, though, Manny is under no obligation to undertake the tests at all unless they are prescribed by the governing commission or sanctioning bodies, so your argument carries no weight in this legal case whatsoever...

Even if the defendants' comments are actionable, and they aren't imo, you generally have a duty to mitigate damages. Since Pacquiao's ability to mitigate damages is so readily apparent and no different than what he already does (OH EXCEPT IT'S RANDOM!!!), Pacquiao's lawsuit is doomed.

Explain to me how allegations of steroid use have harmed Pacquiao to date? What are the damages in your mind?

His duty to mitigate damages IS what has caused the damages.......in mitigating the damages, he would be forced to commit involuntarily to a positive act, at the behest of others, thus abrogating unto themselves God-like powers:

"Do what we want...or we will defame. And the only way you can mitigate the damage of our defaming, is to do what we want"

No man is obliged to accept the impossibility of a situation. No man is obliged to perform service in the absence of a consideration. What does Pacquaio stand to gain from bowing to Team Bedwetter that he isn't already reasonably entitled to receive?

He is already entitled to entertain the prospects of a £50m fight without doing what they tell him. Now you are telling me that he gets to have a £50m fight if he does what they tell him, like it was a whole damn new deal.

And no, Floyd taking the tests too does not constitute consideration, as Floyds taking the test is of no worth to Manny Pac, who is prepared to fight him regardless.

What you put into quotes hasn't ever been said. However, I think you have made a good argument that just isn't appropriate for this situation.

Pacquiao can go find another big fight. Pacquiao can only agree to fight fighters who don't ask for extra testing. I believe you are saying that Pacquiao has been harmed by Mayweather's request that Pacquiao take part in olympic style testing. If that is your argument, I think it fails. I find it implausible to the point of absurdity to think that a court would hold a fighter at fault for trying to ensure the integrity of the fighters above and beyond what normally is the case.

If Pac passes the random drug tests it would help his lawsuit. No?

If Pac was to agree to this form of testing in his next fight (regardless of opponent) not only would it help his case it would be a big FU to the Mayweather camp.

    I doubt this happens however.
