He ducked Mosley, Margarito, Cotto and now he is ducking Pacquiao. Who jumps with me on this bandwagon? BPF can fuck off.

I thought Roy Jones was bad but Floyd makes Roy look like a warrior.

At least "Chicken" DeLa Hoya fought everybody that was a threat to him. Fraud has not fought anyone approaching a threat to him. He is a fucking coward.

Anyone that has the skill and guts to step into the ring at a professional level deserves a modicum of respect at least.

I've seen guys too scared to fight in a tournament in front of 60 people let alone thousands.

I always find it funny when people decide that the word "coward"is off limits when we are talking about boxers on the strength that a lot of non-boxers would find boxing scary.

Of course we can call a boxer a coward. A person is not immune to that observation because they are a boxer.

If a fighter shows a continuing pattern of avoiding the best available opposition, we are entitled to deduce that for whatever reason that they are scared of challenging the best available opposition, regardless of the fact that getting into the ring with the fighter ourselves would terrify us.

If anything, boxers, at least those who trade on what "warriors" they are, invite the possibility.

Exactly, you guys act like this is the 18th century and people still challenge each other to duels over the right to defend their honor.

PBF has become quite a coward in terms of his career as a boxer since JLC kicked his ass.

I see your point. I just find the word out of place when you consider who it is we're affixing the label to and who is usually doing said affixing.

I can't honestly think of a worse word for someone who fights for a living.

I can see your point too. It seems quite brutal. Over the top & unjustified considering that these people put there health on the line for (although not only for), our enjoyment.

However It's context. We also call these people Warriors & Heroes.

When I call him a coward, I'm entering into the spirit of this thread (that I have no problem with- as a boxing fan it's continually bloody frustrating, especially when I suspected as soon as the fight was announced, based on his recent track record. that he'd find a way out of it).

I'm saying that he is scared, for whatever reason of facing the greatest challenges available.
I am of this view based on his recent track record.

I understand the feeling and I'm glad we can see each others viewpoint.

It just isn't a term I would use to describe a boxer along with Hero.

Those are terms that should be reserved for the dregs and the cream of humanity respectively in my opinion.

In the slim chance that Floyd would be stupid enough to attack anyone for making a valid point about his career, it's not a certainty that he would beat anyone in a street fight.

Floyd might just be on my short list of alltime greats....................but I think it is really obvious that even HE doubts his chances, for the first time in his career.
Frankly, I think Floyd would toy with Manny even if he WAS doing roids ...(And he's not)

    BUT evidently......Floyd doesn't think so.

Yeah I guess if I decided that we'd both lace up gloves in that dark alley and a referee was there enforcing the Queensbury rules.

Where did I say I'd beat up Floyd Mayweather?

Do you like making up arguments just so people will talk with you REED? I don't remember you ever having a civil conversation on this forum.

As it is, I'm adding you to my block list. If you ever want to have a civil conversation, you can PM me, and I'll remove you. If not, have a good life Sean.

Oh come on brother Reed. You yourself said that if PBF doesn't fight a top tier guy after JMM that he deserves some serious criticism. Now without actually using the word coward let's hear some of that criticism from you.

Personally I think Floyd is avoiding Manny and whether anyone thinks it's out of context to call Floyd a coward or not that's on them. I don't know if Floyd is truly afraid of actually getting in the ring with these guys or if it's the loss of his precious 0 that makes him wake up in the middle of the night in cold sweats. All I know is I'm tired of the waiting, excuses, and bullshit from PBF.

I don't get the guy. I barely have visited this place the past 6 months, and as soon as I show up, he's trying to race bait, and get my attention.

None of which were even top 5 in the division PBF claims he rules. The only real competition of those guys was Oscar and he really proved that by nearly winning the fight.

If I wouldn' say it to his face, So what?
If he theatened to beat me up I'd shit myself. So what?

Maybe you should start a "Is Pascal Afraid Of PBF?" thread

Regardless, how does that affect the truth or otherwise of me saying that he is scared of Manny?

BTW you must have (quite innocently, I'm sure), overlooked a couple of questions I had for you regarding one of your earlier posts:

In other words, if this fight proceeds the same way as any other fight in history proceeds & Manny wins via early K.O, by definition he's on PED's.

O.K then. Now just to clarify your position further (using your own words):
If Manny wins via STRENGTH & POWER, he's on PED's
If he wins via SPEED & SKILL, he'll DESERVE ALL Credit (not on PED's).

    Now, a couple of questions:
Would you say that Pacs win over Hatton had more to do with:
    STRENGTH & POWER
    or
    SPEED & SKILL?

Would you say that Pacs win over DLH had more to do with:
    STRENGTH & POWER
    or
    SPEED & SKILL?
