Promoter Bob Arum is preparing to open negotiations for Manny Pacquiao to move up to 154 to face WBA super welterweight champion Yuri Foreman. Ex-IBF 140lb champ Paulie Malignaggi is also in the mix. Arum told the LA Times, “…I don’t see [Pacquiao-Mayweather] happening now. Positions are hardening. I talked to [Pacquiao's advisor], and Manny’s fit to be tied. He’s very angry.â€

Daniel M. Petrocelli, the lawyer representing Manny Pacquiao in his lawsuit against the Mayweathers and Golden Boy execs, is best known for representing Fred Goldman in the famous wrongful death civil suit against O.J. Simpson. The Goldman family won a judgment of $8.5 million dollars.

Looks like negotiations between representatives of Bernard Hopkins and Danny Green have collapsed due to a disagreement over the purse split.

I just read where Freddy said it's a tough fight for Pac. He also said they're looking into a JMM III match. Freddy also said they won't be fighting Malignaggi because it wouldn't be much of a fight. That's good because I seriously don't think Malignaggi deserves a shot at Pac. When a guy comes out and says you're going to be their substitute opponent what sense does it make for you to immediately go to the press and then start talking major unnecessary shit about that opponent who is giving you a shot as well as a major payday?

Maybe Malignaggi decided to talk himself out of a major asskicking too.

    But of course.

Matthew without roids would get schooled in 1 sided fashion.

But a roided Matthew Hatton? He'll become a superhuman beast and give Flid the Pacquiao - Ricky treatment.

I guess we'll have to wait and see if Flid demands olympic style testing before making a prediction.

Yeah I'm kind of worried. If Matthew Hatton doesn't accept random blood test up until the day of the fight, it could mean he's roiding. Floyd is just trying to clean up the sport.

Foreman is all wrong for Manny, could stink him out to a points loss.

Arum should forget about this guy.

Why wait? You can take care of this yourself. There are boxing fans who've died while waiting on Don King to die. And King is still alive and kicking.

Yep and he wouldn't have ran to Vegas with it either. He would have been the kind of guy to put it in Dallas stadium or take it to another country like the Phillipines and make it a big event that the whole world noticed.

What kind of idiot takes a super fight that transcends beyond the sport of boxing and sticks it right back in Vegas like any other lame fight?

They had a chance to make the fight special and blew it completely.
