Also, Olympic Style testing has never been recorded as detecting HGH...

Regardless, I think we all know who ends up looking worse after this fiasco. :bears:

It's only the blind nuthuggers at FightBeat who actually defend Mayweather. The entire media knows who wrecked this fight and it wasn't Manny!

Don't be fooled. Arum was the one who walked away from the negotiating table.

No, Floyd did, by not signing the contract and not agreeing to the compromise suggested by Arum, which was MORE than reasonable.

Bama, that's all well and good but, Flid undefeated.

Forget the media. Somebody made a great point. Floyd is not fighting manny to fight Paulie. That speaks volumes. If he fought a legit threat I could understand his unwillingness not to fight Manny without the tests.

    Same old Floyd.

I think people should wait to hear from both sides before taking Arum's "Fight off! Floyd don't want fight!" words as gospel. Remember Arum? The biggest bullshiter in the world who has never been too excited about this fight to begin? People please.

Agreed. Arum could have been looking for a way out the whole time.

Nobody looks good in this situation. The Floyd fans want to say Manny looks bad. The Manny fans want to say Floyd looks bad. Both sides are pointing fingers trying to come out of this looking good.

But the bottom line is Manny looks bad, Floyd looks bad, and most importantly, boxing looks bad.

Like I said earlier, if anyone pays to watch either of these guys fight other than each other, you're just enabling the problem.

In your mind, which is better: moving up from 147 to fight a featherfisted 154lb titlist, or having a featherfisted 140 guy move up to your division?

That's weak. Manny has already stepped up countless times. And fighting Foreman is better than calling out someone like Lopez or cab.

Floyd is a bitch for ducking this fight whether Manny is roided or not. He's turning down 30m and a chance to massively cement his legacy because he thinks there's a good chance he's gonna lose. And that it may or may not be roids that makes Manny as good as he is isn't nearly as important as that simple fact. Floyd will never take a fight he thinks there's any chance he might lose.

And Many's a bitch for not just taking a fucking blood test in a time scale that would allay fears that he's doping. Why the hell not just take one 5-10 days before and put this whole thing to bed? Surely there's someone with some sense to fucking goodness to explain to him that taking 5ml of blood a week before a fight isn't gonna effect his performance jack shit.

I'm disgusted by both of them, everyone around them and the sport itself that these things can happen. Farce isn't strong enough a word for this.

Floyd would of rejected it. He wants blood to be taken out up until the day of the fight, no compromise regardless of the medical validity. He's a black vampire.

  17. Hut*Hut

    Hut*Hut The Mackintosh of temazepam

We can't know that, since it wasn't offered. 24 days is a lemon of an offer.

Floyd didn't even counter-offer. That shows you how much he wants the fight.

  19. Hut*Hut

    Hut*Hut The Mackintosh of temazepam

Fine. But 24 days is a ridiculous offer. It's actually an insult of an offer given the context of the negotiations and they must have known Floyd, if only out of his childish pride at having to climb down so far, wouldn't have accepted it.

As I said, fuck both parties.

In your opiniion, does Floyd feed on overweight metrosexual pinoys or you just don't worry about it?

From 30 to 24? sounds like a compromise to me. How about a counter offer?

  22. Hut*Hut

    Hut*Hut The Mackintosh of temazepam

30 to 14 would have been a counter offer that suggested they wanted negotiations to continue. 30-24 is a piss take offer.

24 days, random urine tests, and a blood test right after the fight? Bearing in mind that all he HAS to do under NSAC rules is supply some piss after the fight?

I'd say that's a pretty fucking good compromise.

Floyd didn't want the fight, that should be obvious by now.

Where you on that meeting? You're talking out of your ass and just going by what Arum said.

    Bob Arum.

Why is it ridiculous? Do you actually think Pacquiao could take some PEDs 23 days before the fight, train really hard, and actually have it help him? :notallthere:

Regardless, it's Manny's camp attempting to compromise. Floyd could've said, 14 days as a counter offer, but he didn't.

  27. TKO

That is obvious to most reasonable posters on here. Steve Bunce was just on Irish radio he said the next time Floyd opens his mouth he will expect a quack as his ducking have moved up a level.

  28. V10

    V10 Undisputed Champion

And perfect because it gives the Pacquiao aficionados the feeling that they were really looking to make the fight by lowering 6 days. 6 days and now Manny was pushing to make the fight and Floyd is the coward.

    6 days.

  29. V10

    V10 Undisputed Champion

Who said they didn't counter offer? Have we heard from both sides?

Schaefer clearly said that's what they were looking for. A middle point which clearly isn't 6 days less.

It looks to me like it was Arum who said "It's 24 days or fuck it we're going with Foreman. Good enought Floyd? No? Perfect, call Foreman. Goodbye".

Umm, it was reported in the LA Times that Mayweather immediately rejected the offer.

I know you Fraud fans love to play "make believe" and hypothesize about what did transpire, but facts trump hypothesis.
