In all honesty through all the smoke and mirrors this is the version of the truth that rings truest to me. I dont think Arum or Roach wanted this fight for Manny

For those that continue to talk about how the sources need to be named. First of all sources are never named. We all know that shit is true. And where there is smoke often times there is fire. Now when I got my information that this fight was supposedly to occur in March I got it from a source. My source got it from a person who is inside the Pacquaio camp. So yes shit gets leaked out. So if cats don't believe that the emails could have been sent then they are fooling themselves cause like I said shit gets leaked all the time. By the way my source was not Johnnie Whitehead Buddy. My source is a good female friend of mine who knows people within the Pacquiao camp. Now she has not said shit about Pac- using PED's but I havent spoken with her either.

And another thing. If cats are so fucking down on boxing why in the fuck are you on a boxing website talking boxing. I don't get it. I'm not an MMA fan so guess what I don't go to MMA websites nor do I visit the forum here. Oh yeah if boxing is so bad why in the fuck do we have fighters doing millions on their PPV numbers. By the way I don't know about you guys but I'm hella hyped for the Mosely/Berto fight. I'll Holla 5000

And it didn't occur to you that maybe making demands for the most exteme drug testing in boxing history wasn't Floyd's way out of the fight?

Extreme? Random drug tests with a 14 day cut off are extreme? And more extreme than 8 ounce gloves + 10m for every lb over? Personally I find that last demand at least as extreme. If Floyd didn't want this fight there are more effective ways to go about it....like turning down either of those two demands from Pac for instance. Wake up man. Occam's razor 'n all that.

For me the final nail is this - that judge they got in as mediator is making a court order against Arum and co for misrepresenting the mediation. Put the pieces together, there's only like three of 'em.

Asking the question doesn't mean shit. What if he does test "positive" for something ? What if Mayweather tests "positive" for something ? These are questions worth asking, and I'm sure the message contained in this supposed email is being skewed completely out of it's context. The Mayweather camp is going nuts about all this testing.. but to what end ? It's certainly a valid point, and needs to be raised in response to the demands for testing. In a way it is a test of legitimacy of the requested testing procedure. Let's say Mayweather camp is asking for all these testing.. but when asked what will be done about a possible positive test, they say "uhhh... well.... we uhh never thought about...." it puts the original question in perspective. Is the Mayweather camp simply asking for the tests to throw shit on Pacman, or is there a reason and result expected from them. I know a certain (non-negligible) percentage of general population would test positive for performance enhancers based random testing, so these are certainly questions that need to be brought up, if in fact the testing is anything other than a media trash-talking and/or fight avoiding ploy by Mayweather.

I'm not sure if you think this type of bs hyperbole helps your position or not, but it doesn't. Unless you are trying to make fun of people who are saying this. In that case, it's quite clever.

That video more than anything else has kind of made me think maybe Manny might be on PEDs. I still won't go into full fledged definite belief like guys like Outlander but I think things do look a lot more suspicious now. Also this guy here makes a good point on this interview as well:
    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CefPLAWc-oo&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CefPLAWc-oo&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

One thing that hasn't changed though is my opinion that Floyd is a coward who wants no part of proving his so called greatness and that will be shown in full effect when we witness his next choice of an opponent.

In boxing, yes. Being targeted at one guy who has never failed a drugs test, yes.

Either change the rules for EVERYONE, or proceed as normal.

The 10 mil clause was also extreme, I wouldn't have blamed Floyd for turning that down.

Floyd really wanted to fight Manny, and yet he is supposed to be fighting Matthew Hatton next?

I believe it's Floyd who didn't want the fight more than Manny. I also think Jake's theory is a possibility that it was a lot of posturing and bluffing from both sides, and neither wanted the March date anyway.

Lob 4 lob - what is it about that video that sways you into thinking Manny might be on PEDs?

Like I said before, I acknowledge the possibility that Manny might be roided up to his eyeballs, but without tangible evidence, he's innocent.

I can't be bothered going through this with you again man, so I'll just lay out the simple truth 1 more time then Im gonna try and move on from this shite. The bottom line at this stage is that if Team Pac wanted the fight they would have accepted the 14 day cut off just like Floyd accepted Pac's two stipulations. And if they were comfortable with the boxing public knowing the truth of these negotiations they wouldn't have outright lied about what went on in the mediation process. Floyd is essentially a coward (or more accurately a wannabe hustler who wants to get as much as he can without contributing, sacrificing or risking), IMO but he's right there to fight if they accept the 14 day testing which IF Pac is innocent as you insist is no challenge or disadvantage whatsoever. The whole thing stinks, but the stench coming from team Pac is at least 3x stinkier. Either Pac is cheating or Arum & Roach just dont want/think Pac can win this fight. Quite frankly you're letting your hatred of Floyd and love of Pac blind you to what at this stage is fairly transparent situation.

Come on, I like Teddy Atlas and sometimes he comes in from way out in left field. REED, I know you aren't starting to think that ESPN holds anything credible unless it makes them money. They are a business that has always sided on making money over any shred of balanced reporting.

Mostly from all the double talk that seems to come back and bite Roach in the ass. He's starting to look almost as untrustworthy as Arum. It doesn't help that he was involved with roids when he managed Toney. I still say Manny is innocent until proven guilty but it's just looking more suspicous on their part to me after seeing that video.

But it's the truth, it's the reality of this filthy, disgusting, corrupt sport. It is the most ideal 'sport' to indulge in unregulated and aggressive capitalism. It's better that the facts are revealed instead of, and I quote,.. "Kept a secret for the benefit of boxing".

    No I'm not.

    That's insulting.

In the Morales days, I was far, far less objective.

Now though, I'm not above criticising a fighter I like, or picking against him. I actually picked Oscar to beat Pacquiao, even though I dislike him almost as much as Fraud.

And despite being a Pavlik fan, it SEEMED to me as though he ducked Tall Paul, for whatever reason.

I tell things as I see them.

Is it possible that Arum and/or Roach didn't want the fight? Sure. Is it possible that Manny has roids seeping out of every pore in his body? Sure.

But my feeling about this, knowing what I do about the situation, is that Floyd doesn't want the fight. If he did want the fight, and was so confident, he wouldn't have even asked for this testing. He would have probably naused Manny about it instead to get in his head, like "yeah I know you're on PEDs, but I don't even care, I'll still bash you".

If Manny out of the blue suddenly requested Olympic style testing of one of his opponents, an opponent with no history of steroids, I would think it was equally fucking bizarre, and I would have exactly the same stance as I have now.

Like the Genius said, I think even if Manny accepted these demands, Floyd would think of something else, another clause to break the fight, but one that was engineered to make Manny look bad, rather than be him obviously running away (ie, demanding too big a cut is too obvious).

Manny agreed to have 3 random blood tests, random urine anytime up to the fight, and a blood test RIGHT after the fight. Seeing as all he has to do under NSAC rules is take a piss right after the fight, I'd say that's a pretty fucking good compromise, wouldn't you? And yet that still wasn't good enough for team Fraud. Yet it's Manny who doesn't want the fight? :notallthere:

Even Jake - who is professional and objective and knowledgeable, stated the window to roid would be extremely small.

And another thing, USADA, or a company funded by USADA has developed a piss test for HGH, plus EPO can be detected in urine. They are the two most likely candidates for a boxer to take.

Team Manny have handled this proper badly, and aroused more suspicion than if they'd simply said, fuck you, we go by the NSAC rules and tests, not yours.

If the emails were true more reason for Mayweather, Teddy Atlas to make them PUBLIC, especially now that the MAJORITY are blaming Floyd for the fight not happenning.

A lot of TALK but no concrete EVIDENCE....

You point blank refuse to look at the Pac side, though. 'He might be cheating sure', 'Roach & Arum might have scupperred the fight, sure' etc as if those things are irrelevant. Your focus on Floyd's wrongdoing is myopic even though it's ultimately them who've walked away, Im sorry. That blood tests aren't necessary (I don't believe that and more importantly I doubt Floyd does) is a red herring - who gives a fuck, if you want the fight & you feel confident of passing them you just take them.

Then you & Genius distort and absolve that fact by speculating on what Floyd would have done next if they had. You're really twisting this up to avoid the truth of whats happened here, IMHO. And Im not being rhetorical here I really think you're refusing to look at this properly. But I don't think we'r gonna agree on this so we'd best agree to disagree.

I've looked at it perfectly from Pacman's point of view, that's why I changed my mind.

My kneejerk reaction was "Pac refuse tests! Pac must be roiding!".

    But it's not that simple.

You say Pacquiao walked away from the fight, well that's not entirely true. They tried to compromise, and team Floyd wouldn't accept.

You say if you want the fight you take them, you might as well say you want the fight, you do anything.

If Pacquiao wanted the fight, he should have done anything then should he? Maybe taken 25% of the purse and let Floyd decide what gym he has to train in?

Pacquiao is in a better bargaining position than Floyd. Floyd is lucky to still be considered the #2 fighter in the world, seeing as he has done FUCK ALL in however long. Pacman is the "it" fighter right now, not Floyd.

If Floyd wanted the fight, he wouldn't have insisted on those tests.

And in regards to people assuming that Pacman must be on roids, that pisses me off too.

    That's not how things work.

Arthur Allen Leigh had a shit load of circumstantial evidence against him (far more than Pacman does here) to be the Zodiac Killer, but he was never convicted because there simply wasn't enough tangible evidence. So nobody knows if it was him or not.

I won't believe Pacquiao is on roids until there is tangible evidence or Pacquiao himself states as much.

Next time you are with Pacq, spit and test that instead of swallowing.

Actually, you'd find some reason not to believe that result, too.

Just for the record, what would you consider to be tangible evidence?

Right, Pac's the bigger draw (highly debatable, we all spent about 3 weeks debating this and never came to any real conclusion) so he is right to walk away if Floyd makes a demand. Just to put Floyd in his place and teach him a lesson? He can make 2 demands, but if Floyd has one he's right to walk away and sacrifice millions and millions of bucks and the biggest fight of his life because he's the bigger draw.

Forgive me if Im misrepresenting your position here but thats effectively how I distill that post.

As for comparing this situation to the Zodiac killer. The zodiac killer never had an opportunity to take 3 10 minutes blood tests to prove his innocence which he effectively paid 10m to avoid taking. If he did that I'd make some fairly fucking firm assumptions regardless of whether they stood up in court.

If Floyd never wanted to fight Pacquaio, he wouldn't have un-retired. it really is that simple but people will be stupid about it and say he's ducking Manny.

    ARUM is ducking PBF.

That´s why a lot of Pacquiao fans are full of sh*t. Mayweather agrees to 2-3 ridiculous extra stipulations/demands by Pacquiao. Mayweather makes a halfway compromise (14 days) on his ONLY reasonable demand. Pacquiao turns it down, but somehow Mayweather is the pussy. Pacquiao is the control-freak, who is well-known to force BS stipulations on opponents. I don´t blame Mayweather one bit that he told Manny to fuck off. It´s what DLH, Cotto and Morales should have done.
