Berto looks nervous and uncomfertable in that faceoff.

Hell Shane does too. It's an uncomfortable setting to sit face to face with the guy you're going to fight and tell how and why you're going to kick his butt.

I think that's a stupid way to do it. I actually think it would be better to show a one on one with each fighter and have them respond to Max letting them know what the other fighter just said, and then splice it all up back to back and you get a better product IMO.

Berto is very similar stylistically to Shane in every department. Similar height, build and fighting style, likes guys to come to him, less effective going forward but will quickly revert to that if a guy is reluctant to engage. I don't think he's more skilled per se but I do think he has a bit more patience than Shane.

He just has way less speed, IMO. And thats more important. Also his balance his poor and Shane's gonna find him fairly easily.

Mosley by close but clear UD.

I seriously doubt these days that Berto has way less speed than Shane. In fact I think he's closer to having way more speed than Shane. Another huge difference between the two is their foot work. Shane's is phenomonal while Berto's is terrible. Shane's durability and chin is also better than Berto's and might be the overall difference in this fight. Power is another area where Mosley has an advantage as his power seems to have gotten stronger as he's gotten older. I know there will be some steriod jokes on that last statement but oh well.

Berto has pretty fast hands when he's set, but he doesn't have the same ability to set himself and fire quickly. As I said, his balance his poor and being set is at least half of what real in ring speed is, IMO. I expect Shane to beat him to the punch, most of the time. And I agree about the durability/power thing, completely.

I still think the difference in effective speed (ability to get off quickly) will be the most important one. But I expect it to be pretty close, because their styles are remarkably similar, and if Berto shows the greater patience and encourages Mosley to lead he'll have won the first major battle.
