Haven't seen anything about this card on here but this f*cker is stacked!:cheer:

I really don't give a shit about Herschel Walker and the womens bout, but love the rest of it. Lawler/Manhoef is just sick. someone is getting knocked the fuck out and me thinks its Lawler.

For those of you who don't know who Zoromskis is yet, after he kicks Nick Diaz's head into the 20th row, you'll find out real quick.

FUN fight card. Lawler/Manhoef is going to be a toe to toe war although I think Manhoef will smash him.

Zaromskis/DIaz will be great too. Hopefully Diaz keeps it standing for a while so Zaromskis can kick his stupid "mean face" off. Zaromskis is red hot. Like mini-Pride Crocop.

Heiron/Riggs is fun too. I think Heiron is a very fun fighter to watch and is definately a gamer. A veteran in Riggs can bring out the best in him.

It will also be fun to see what Walker and Lashley are made of.

I could give a shit about the
    he/she.

Hopefully he doesn't get the same treatment, as the real Crocop when stepping into the cage...

He should be the much quicker striker than Diaz - so Diaz shouldn't waste any time standing with him. But i guess he's too macho for that.

Not stacked but a good card. Im only interested in the Lawler/Manhoef and Diaz/Zaromskis fights.

IMO Lawler has no chance and is getting squashed, Manhoef is a monster.

Diaz should beat Zaromskis but it will be interesting if Zaromskis can keep from getting taken down.

anyone seen Shane del Rosario fight?.....he's 9-0, and only once has he been taken beyond the first round. He's fought on M1 challenge and Strikeforce challengers cards....is this a risk for Lashley or does Rosario's numbers flatter him?

I saw him fight on a Strike Force card back in November, and I'm pretty sure I saw him fight on ShoXC a few years back. He got dropped early in the fight and Mazagatti all but stopped it, but changed his mind at the last second, so take that for what it's worth. It's hard to say if he's any good since he's never fought anyone that's even remotely a 'name', but I'm gonna pick him to beat Lashley anyway.

I hear Lashley is still doing Pro Wrestling. He's gonna learn that if he's not concentrating 100% on learning MMA, he's not gonna last long in the sport. If he wants to be a Pro Wrestler, that's fine. If he wants to fight MMA, that's fine. But he's not gonna be able to do both.

Here's the fight. It wasn't Mazagatti that was the ref, not sure why I remembered it as him. Anyway, Cash drops him, the ref goes to stop the fight then changes his mind at the very last second. Cash beats him up for a while, then out of nowhere Del Rorsario gets a beautiful Omaplata for the quick win.

Should be a fun card to watch. Does Zaromski have a ground game? I've only seen his last fight where he kicks the dude in the head. Which seems to be a pattern for this guy.

Nice sub, the dude got knocked the fuck out though. Once the ref touches a fighter the fight should be over. That was some bullshit.

    Lashley via Human Blanket.

Walker was on the radio this morning hyping his fight. I only got to hear a few seconds of it since I was working, but one thing that surprised me is that he admitted his 7th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do (or whatever level he's at) is pretty much worthless in MMA. Most TKD guys I know swear by it, but good to see Herschel knows better.

He sort of does remind me of Tyson. Most explosive striker I've ever seen in MMA ever. He even KTFO Mark Hunt for god's sake. Horrible matchup for Lawler. They need to have the EMT's on standby...seriously.

As for the most overrated fighter in MMA, I'm going to reverse my pick and go with Zaromskis. He is phenomenal athlete with unparalled speed at 170 and an explosive sprawl. To me Diaz has always had shitty takedowns and I can't see him winning outside of a flying submission or Zaromskis jumping into his guard after a knockdown. Diaz also has abhorrent stand up and that plays to Zaromskis strength.

Diaz doesn't have great takedowns by any means, but he's a scrapper and if he wants the fight to get to the ground he is pretty sly in getting it there. His standup is very deceiving as well. Ask Frank Shamrock and Robbie Lawler. He has very little pop in his punches, but he is extremely accurate and throws alot of them. He is an extremely well rounded fighter. This is by FAR the best opponent Zaromskis has ever faced. With all that, I still expect Zaromskis to catch him.:hammert:

Lawler is a collegiate wrestler with a really good pedigree in it. If he was smart, he'd look to use it. I agree, this is a bad matchup for Robbie. Manhoef has awesome takedown defense and wicked power.

Lawler outstruck him and got caught, even then he was out quite literally for about a second and PROBABLY could've continued had he not APPEARED to be so out, showing what little power Diaz has.

Frank is shot to shit and can't strike. Bad combination.

Nick has pretty technical boxing, can outstrike bums, and has a good chin, but his hand speed is laughable, power is mediocre at best and has abhorrent defense. Watch his debut fight in XC. He gets beat by some journeyman can and the guy gets jobbed because he's Joe Schmo and the other guy is Nick Diaz. And of course, it's XC, we all know that org was a joke. Anyway that fight basically shows how poor Diaz is at striking and IMO he's just an average fighter all together.

Lashley is trying to bitch out of fighting Del Rosario. I'm reading some shit about how his camp tried to nix the fight and bring in someone else I have never heard of who is 2-1 but he was not approved by the Florida Commission because it was not a competitive match. Sounds like strikeforce is trying to get Del Rosario back on as of now.

I change my pick from Lashley via Human Blanket to Del Rosario by KO.

Your orginal pick is probably more likely now. People are saying Strikeforce is intentionally keeping Del Rosario in the dark to fuck with his training camp and have Lashley fully trained.

As TFK said before, Lashley needs to pick between pro wrestling and MMA. If Shane Del Rosario is too steep of a step he needs to stick to pro wrestling.

For as much of a 'freak show' Herschel Walker fighting is, I have to say, it's gotten Strike Force a TON of mainstream publicity. Walker's been on sports radio, ESPN, Yahoo and just about everywhere else.

So even if this fight goes against what the MMA purist stands for, perhaps the ends do justify the means. Strike Force has been exposed to a whole new audience. Now whether that hype turns into viewers remains to be seen. But if Walker wins and Showtime ratings are high, you can guarantee he'll be fighting on CBS in April.

Manhoef is good, but the comparisons to Tyson are insulting to Iron Mike.

His defense and punching technique aren't even close, and despite being lighter, he's probably not even half as fast as a prime Tyson.

I look forward to Diaz against Zamorskis though. Should be a good fight, I'm not sure who to pick, some of you seem a bit too sure that Zamorkis is going to win. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Diaz handled him.

Zamorkis has nice head kicks, but they are a bit on the slow side. Cro cop, despite being much bigger with huge chunky legs, had faster kicks. That left head kick just came out of nowhere, it was fucking quick for a high kick. And Diaz has decent defense and is fairly crafty.

I couldn't agree with you more MWS. Zaromskis kicks are hard as fuck. But beyond that...nothing. Diaz is a good/great crafty veteran, don't be suprised to see Diaz outsmart Zaromskis in this fight.

I was more impressed with the way Diaz took away Scott Smith's will to fight. Smith is not a top level guy by any means, but he's a tough guy to make give up. Before he submitted Smith, Diaz had already taken his heart away.

Diaz is a steadily improving guy and is just akward enough to make life difficult for anyone. This fight will be tougher than you might think.
