Hmmm, that's an interesting fight that I'm hearing rumours about. You have to wonder how long Margarito has been wearing those plaster strips in his gloves. Could Floyd stop Cintron? My guess is he'd win 11 out of 12 rounds, but would he stop him...hmmm.

I don't think he stops him, he'll box cautiously to a decision. I can't even give Cintron a puncher's chance cos he's so 'effin slow.

Cintron is not very good, but I don't have a problem with this fight. As long as he fights Mosley or Pacquiao afterwards.

Cintron is at least a big, legit welterweight with a decent punch.

Best possible opponent for March, I have no objections. He's a damn big welterweight if nothing else.

considering who is out there right now - this is an acceptable opponent, and actually i think its a good choice - big guy relatively dangerous even if highly flawed

Nate Campbell, Paul Malignaggi or Matthew Hatton are not acceptable

From a Mayweather's perspective: Cintron has already lost twice and by knockout, if I beat him, nothing new, it's been done before so why fight him?

I prefer Paul Williams. Cintron will be outboxed for a CLEAR UD for Mayweather.

Manny Pacquiao has lost twice by KO. What's the matter with you?

This would be a departure for PBF, and a good first step towards actually competing as a professional. I'd be very happy to see this fight.

This fight is HIGH RISK, LOW REWARD for PBF. If somehow Cintron lands a bomb that lays PBF out it will cost him heavily.

Acceptable fight, there are also rumors about a Floyd-Shane fight in June if Mosley beats Berto.

I would have rather seen Cotto fight Cintron because I would have really enjoyed Cotto beating him to a pulp and it would have been a very good action fight watching Cotto break Cintron down in less than 5 rds, but a PBF-Cintron fight isn't bad either.

I actually give Cintron a good shot at winning.

Yep. Nothing will come within a million miles to a fight with Manny in terms of significance but at least Cintron is a fucking welter.

Needles isn't stopping Cintron, but it is a pretty safe fight for him and keeps later, better options open such as Pacq or Mosley.

You have to admit it's funny though, me, you and most others are giving Floyd credit for - wait for it - fighting a guy that belongs in the weight class he's been fighting in since 2005

I said it a week or so ago, if Floyd isn't gonna fight Manny, the best fight for him is Cintron. He's not elite, but he's legit, and at the very least he's not some blown up lightweight.

This fight ain't gonna happen though.

I like this fight alot. Especially when Cintron had a pretty good 2008 with a draw against Martinez at 154 and beating the undefeated Angulo.

Floyd will still toy with him but it's a pretty good tune up before a potential Mosley fight in the summer.

Hilarious to say the least, all of a sudden Cintron is a good opponent for Floyd when I clearly remember Margarito beatin his ass and the word from Floyd fans was that Cintron was a complete scrub.
