Clottey is probably an average sized welterweight at best. He is not big for the weight class at all.

For a big dude at 147 look no further than Tall Paul :: He's now a middleweight, but at 147 he was massive.

Oscar is bigger than him, so was Tito, so was Forrest, Mayorga, possibly even Quartey. Mosley is also bigger than Clottey.

I'd say Quartey is around the same size as Floyd. Maybe an inch shorter, but slightly stockier.

Maybe that explains his lack of punching power. His punches look and sound hard, but don't seem to have as much of an affect as they should.

 

It's not good news when the biggest choker at 147 this side of Judah is saying that. I'm surprised people seem to be up for this fight, I don't see much intrigue at all. He's fighting the guy that just lost to the guy he just KO'ed.
